Ahmed Zidan: The location is amazing, exactly at the centre of the city, beside Metro hub, and almost every facility you might need.The price: I give it very good if you compare it to the location and accommodation quality.Cleanliness: accepted, though it could be better. I had few issues with shower water drainage, I guess it need to be updated. The soap given daily is so economic and small! It doesn't take much if you be a bit more generous in this regard!. Otherwise, the housekeeper ladies, including Mona, were doing a real goid job.Wifi: horrible network. Absolutely need to be improved. I gave up on the Hotel wifi, and used my data to save my time and temper.Breakfast: average to below. There was only one sort of coffee, a cheap Nescafe that barely tastes as Nescafe.The Basteries!! including croissants were terribly the most downside of the breakfast, they were always old, hard to chew, obviously were kept from the day before or even older!. I was very disappointed. Live station for preparing omlets was the only positive thing in the breakfast that seriously needs to be taken care of.All in all, good experience, putting all points together including particularly the price, location and the accepted accommodation. It's 's a place that practically does the job for medium budget trip.

Breakfast could be better but you can find something to eat because there is variety. One negative thing is the street noise. Despite staying on the 12th floor, I could hear car horns and because I need absolute silence to sleep, I used earplugs.

Sohabe Hashmi: Location is pretty decent and near the bustle of Cairo. Service was decent. Great hotel and lobby area, they don't build them like this anymore. Upscale feeling. A lot of shops and restaurants. There was entertainment. Food was decent. Service was pretty good.The casino was small but decent. The casino only accept USD and you can only get USD from your credit card at the casino, there are no bank machines dispensing USD at the hotel. You will not get any drinks at the Casino quickly as they mess around with you. Casino staff is different than hotel staff and are not as nice. You will need a foreign passport to enter, there no exceptions unless you look like a white foreign tourist perhaps they will stop checking you for a passport after you show them once.The room was old and run down but it was clean. The hot water stopped working on my last day and nobody had an explanation or what was really doing anything about it. It stopped and started with little pressure. This made me late for my excursion, if it was not a private booking I would have missed it. When I checked out all I got was a empty apology. For the price and stature they should have taken care of me.

pepi mpezirgianni: This amazing group of hotels is expanded around a large area with hotels,spa,pool,gym, restaurants, museum, cafe, walking paths, garden, fountain ect. In the interior you can admire the marble stairs,statues, carved furniture, romantic lighting and long corridors . Rooms are cozy,spacy, clean and nice decorated with big beds. It is a great experience.

Overall lthe hotel is in a great location, it is horrible, uncomfortable, beds are probably the worst I've ever slept on, breakfast is barely OK (always the same, 1 egg, some bread, tea...)Apparently all hotels in the city center are pretty much the same so no place to hdie other than regular hotels outside of Cairo which will force you to use uber to go anywhere.There's a pizza hut/Krispy kream/KFC nearby which is quite helpful.Neighborhood bit scary by night.I'd suggest to think Twice if you prefer city center in bad hotel or far away in a decent hotel...**pictures are not fake but highly edited. Siewmin Gan: I had a good experience at this hotel when I was there for a week recently to attend a conference. There are a few tips to make your stay enjoyable here! Instead of booking a five star hotel at the conference centre, I decided to book a local hotel and booked the deluxe double room with a bathtub ensuite. Firstly, Room selection and booking : this hotel has 2 seperate listing on booking which I read from another review. One is for the rooms facing the square and busy street and the other is for the room facing the back streets. Although I booked the former, I eventually chose the latter when I arrive in person as I like the back street local housing view more and the shisha cafe views. Also it is very quiet unlike the rooms facing the front streets. When I turn up at the hotel, initially they brought me to the front street double room which didn’t have a bathtub but gave me a few more choices of rooms that has bathtub after I showed them my booking that is a double room deluxe with bathtub and balcony. Eventually they provided me a triple person room with 2 beds even though I am one person. It comes with a private although seperate huge spa tub bathroom which is across the room corridor. I am fine with this arrangement as the single bed in that room is firm and the room is spacious and quiet. The aircon/heater is slightly noisy but i quickly got used to it. Although the tv doesn’t work, they repaired it a couple of days later but I don’t think there is sound. I was not in Cairo to watch to so it doesn’t matter to me. The room number is 205. I highly recommend this room and paying a few dollars more for a deluxe double or triple room with your own bathtub and balcony view and choose the room facing the backstreet. If in doubt, just email the hotel owner your enquiries and what kind of room you would like, and they will assist you.Secondly, Front entrance: the hotel is located on the 6th floor and does not occupy the entire building. It has a sign on the lift inside. Do give the hotel a call when you arrive and they will send their staff down to help you with your luggages. You have to walk inside the main entrance of the building which looks like a typical public housing /office corridor. But go up the lift and you reach the hotel reception which is in good decor. I was from Asia and have seen HDB and old buildings, so this facade entry on the ground floor did not bother me after a couple of days, although other tourists may not be used to this. It may be worthwhile for the hotel to advertise it as being on the six floor of this building, so the tourist would not have thought the entire building represented the hotel. In any case it was lovely of the hotel to send down their staff to help with the luggages both when I arrive and when I finished my stay.Thirdly, Breakfast: I am pleasantly surprised that the egg was cooked fresh on demand , so they only cook your breakfast egg when you asked for your breakfast. You can either have it in common area or in your room. It is tasty enough for me.Fourthly, housekeeping: if you would like your toilet or room cleaned and towels changed, you have to drop off your key at the reception, and they will put it in a box for you to collect at the reception desk when u return. If you didn’t drop your keys to the receptionist, they will assume you don’t want anyone to enter your room or have housekeeping done.Lastly, their luggage storage is at the corridor which other guests pass through. I left my luggages there at the storage open area but my valuables with the front reception. So you can do that too if you are more pedantic.Of note their tours although a bit more pricier than outside local shops, is very convenient and the tour guide I got is called Mahmoud and I highly recommend him. The hotel staff are all very friendly and I highly recommend this hotel to budget travellers who don’t mind a worn down building entrance, a basic hot breakfast, and paying a bit more to get a spacious deluxe db/triple room facing back streets & want to experience a well located local hotel feel.

Vasily Alekseenko: The only good place about the hotel is location. Considering prices in Cairo it’s more on the expensive side. Everything is old and run down. No one did any refurbishment there probably when the hotel was built. Service is slow, their English is pretty bad for the central location. For the same price we could have stayed in local Airbnb located in Zamalek as well but newly renovated. The pool was surprisingly clean. On yeah on the “clean” part. For any Europeans travelling here for the 1st time, they really need to adjust their expectation on what clean here looks like. All the paces here look great at night with just a few lights but during the day it’s a different story, hotels are not an exception here.

We had good dinner, good breakfast and the location was also nice.It's not the newest interior, but everything has been cleaned properly! It's exceeding the egyptian standard. Beware that Cairo is a pretty loud city, so I'd recommend to take a room to the sites.
