P J: I tried this hotel due to the convenient location. It is close to most tourist spots, close to restaurants and the Museums. The hotel itself has a few good restaurants if you wish to dine in after a long day. The Turkish and the Italian restaurants are the two that I tried. Can highly recommend both of them. The rooms itself are good. We went for the suite with Nile view. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Min Cheng: The location is great. The higher floors had views to the Nile River. But check-in took more than an hour at 7pm. Their reason was that the rooms had not been cleaned yet. My room, #529, was in need of repairs. Many outlets did not work properly. There was no hair dryer in the room. Only half of the water would go up through shower head. The toilet leaked all night. Breakfast food was not fresh. The barley porridge had spoiled milk smell. The cut fruit tasted like it was the leftover from the previous day.I would not recommend this hotel.

Reclamos al hotel al día siguiente mostrándole las fotografías, por las condiciones en las que nos tienen y no les importa el cliente. Lo único que nos ofrecen es pagar más dinero (75€ por noche y habitación) para tener una habitación en condiciones. Después de haber pagado ya una gran cantidad de dinero a Soltour.Nos encontramos en la planta séptima en una habitación de los años sesenta, ruido insoportable a todas horas del tráfico, olor a tabaco en la habitación, ducha que no funciona, suciedad, moho, camas rotas, mucho frío, sin mantas … no son condiciones de tener alojados a los clientes en un Hotel Hilton.No recomiendo a nadie que se aloje en este hotel ni que reserve ningún viaje con la empresa Soltour.Es muy posible que se ponga enfermo durante su viaje por Egipto como nuestro caso, un crucero por el Nilo con estancia en El Cairo Hotel Ramses Hilton organizado por la empresa Soltour.No malgasten su dinero en este hotel, cuesta mucho esfuerzo ganarlo para luego terminar viendo situaciones desagradables durante sus vacaciones.Esto no son vacaciones!Actualizo cometario por la respuesta del hotel, no nos cambio el hotel por voluntad propia las habitaciones. Reclamamos a nuestra agencia de viajes, ellos desde España reclamaron a Soltour. Un delegado de Soltour en El Cairo se presentó en el hotel y cambiaron a algunas personas de habitaciones, otras las dejaron en las de los años 60, a la gente más mayor (nada considerados).El cambio de habitación supuso estar pegado a la obra de la reforma del hotel. Nada de tranquilo.Rooms: No reúne las condiciones de habitabilidad.Noteworthy details: Huyan de estar alojados aquí, a este hotel no le importa el cliente y en que condiciones los tiene. Lo más desagradable que nos hemos encontrado como país y como empresas. Sólo quieren sacarte el dinero. Esto es una trampa para turistas.

Ana Bruges: Terrible. DEF NOT A 5 STAR HOTEl. Lack basic amenities like drinks in the room, Jaír dryer, no robes, no international programming (these are the amenities that make a hotel 5 star) Save yourself and do not stay here. The elevators literally SHAKE very heavily while going up, the carpet is stained and damaged everywhere, the people in the front desk are rude and condescending. We checked in at 4 am and asked for TWO nights thinking we would get charged for an early check in and the two nights we requested. They charged the early check in as a full night and did not tell us about it even when we asked the front desk to confirm that it was two nights, they just charged it. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my whole life and I’ve traveled half of the world.
