It is considered a hospital to refer millions of patients who flock annually from all over the country to receive treatment at Kasr Al-Ainy. It currently treats up to two million patients annually and employs about 3,000 doctors and 11,000 employees. Originally a university hospital, Kasr Al-Ainy developed into a center for the education and training of physicians, as well as gaining a strong reputation for advanced scientific research. In 2014, it trained 5,710 Egyptian undergraduate students, 8,219 graduate students, and 3,588 PhD students.

Hassanein: With the intensification of the Egyptian national movement at the beginning of this century, a group of leaders of national action and pioneers of the enlightenment movement and social thought in Egypt, such as Muhammad Abduh, Mustafa Kamel, Muhammad Farid, Qasim Amin, and Saad Zaghloul, embarked on achieving a dream that has long flirted with the imagination of the people of this country, which is to establish A university that advances the country in all aspects of life, and be a beacon of free thought, a basis for scientific renaissance, a bridge connecting the country to the sources of modern science, and a crucible in which the necessary cadres in all disciplines are prepared to participate in the world’s scientific progress, but this wish found strong opposition on the part of the British occupation authorities, especially from its Lord Dean Cromer, who realized that the establishment of a university in Egypt means the creation of an educated class of Egyptians who realize that independence is not just the liberation of the land, but rather the liberation of the Egyptian personality and its launch into the city and civilization’s corridors. A committee of patriots who made sacrifices and endured hardships took charge of the matter until the idea came to light and became a tangible reality. The Egyptian University was opened as a private university on the twenty atheist of December 1908 in Hef A majestic event was held in the Shura Council of Laws Hall, attended by Khedive Abbas II and some statesmen and notables.On the evening of the opening day, studies began in the university in the form of lectures, and since a permanent location was not allocated for it at that time, the lectures were delivered in separate halls, which were announced in daily newspapers such as the Law Consultative Council hall, the Higher Schools Club, and Dar Al-Jarida until the university took a place for it. Hazem Rofael: If I can give no stars I would, no one answering the phone at all, you can not book online or even via email there’s no reply, I went to the clinic to book and it’s really long way for me and there were none to book me an appointment, it’s really ridiculous and I will report them to the Australian immigration.

Koto Qalo: The clinic doesn’t take calls for appointments. If you’re trying to make a booking on its website, it won’t work. The best solution is to visit the office address and make an appointment yourself. Bring your passport and your residential card. After making your appointment they will send you an email of your confirmed date and time with instructions of what to bring. This usually happens upon availability, thus you need to return the following day for your medical appointment.

Riham El Sherbeeny: Nursing in the neurosurgery department is not perfect. They have miscommunication, poor treatment of medications, and brutality in the matter of cannulation. They do not cooperate in any way except for one from the orthopedic department, may God bless her.. But the hospital is clean and the rooms are not the worst thing.
