A 3: The restaurant has a minimum spend of 2000 EGP per person - this is around $65 per head. It's nearly impossible to spend this much money unless you buy alcohol, i.e. bottles of wine.The restaurant was half empty at 20:00 on Saturday, but we were still turned away by the staff. We went to Hilton's Namaste instead which is was nearby, had nice staff and the food was delicious.Such a disappointment, Bab El-Sharq!

Tienen un terraza con un ambiente muy agradable donde hay música típica en vivo.La comida deliciosa aunque las raciones un poco pequeñas. El precio bastante caro comparado con los precios de la ciudad, pero merece la pena. Pedimos humus, babaganush, patatas harra y parrillada.Importante decir que sirven alcohol, cosa que no ocurre en otros restaurantes de El Cairo.
