Jade Warrener: My husband got food poisoning here, we originally sent back the chicken because it was raw and undercooked. They still had us pay for it and gave us some fruit to say sorry. Also half the menu was unavailable - it’s a steakhouse and 6 of the 8 steaks weren’t available and seafood too.That night he got really ill (only ate here that day) and wouldn’t stop vomiting, I called up to let them know and asked for a refund for our meal the next day. They said they’d ask the manager, over 4 days we chased up and both times they said “we’ll ask the manager,” they never did. No refund given and wasted days in hotel because of really bad food.One star because waiters were nice and could see they felt bad.
rebecca bailey: Some of the best steak (if not the best) we have ever eaten. I am shocked that Cairo would produce such amazing steak and was not looking out for it, but stumbled upon it. The sides were also very good. We went back again and recommended our tour group after going. Our wait staff were amazing all around, but Mahmoud Farouk (spelling?) Really left a mark with his humour.
Maria Aisopou: Nice place and location. However we booked a dinner in order to try the steak but all the steak choices were sold out. Very disappointed. So, we forced to choose sea food. It was good but overestimated. We also ordered a cheesecake for dessert and we were waiting for it about 20 mins. In my opinion it is overrated and quite expensive for what it offers.

NYALA WALKER: 5 FOOD! 3 SERVICE! Authentic Thai Cuisine! The SOUPS may have been my favorite part. The Tom Kha Coconut soup and Tom Yam Spicy shrimp were delicious and took me back to Thailand. ALL Dishes were plated and presented well and tasted DELICIOUS! We also ordered wine, spicy beef salad, spring rolls, and two entrees! My only issue was that they did not recommend the ‘Tasting Menu’ to my partner and I after seeing us order several courses! It would have been more cost effective and we would have gotten a chance to try more dishes. I couldn’t tell if it was the language barrier, racism or simple oversight on the part of our server. (We are Ghanaian, When I asked ‘why?’ no one could explain, yet it was offered to a table next door to ours) Overall GOOD experience. Just wish this restaurant was overlooking the NILE like their Italian one.
Gventures: The best Thai restaurant in Cairo! I love Thai food. I have been to Thailand, and I used to work at a Thai owned and operated restaurant in the US, so I know what the food should taste like. They do a fantastic job here! I have been several times now (living in Cairo 1.5 years, tried all the Thai spots in Cairo, this one is the best, and I will be back again). Overall, it's a high-end restaurant located in a hotel building with a quiet atmosphere. The waiters are funny, the food tastes good but it's a little salty. The main dishes are slow to arrive, but the snacks are very good. They have wine, which is perfect for three or five friends to order a little food and slowly enjoy their drinks. It's a comfortable experience. Each of us ordered a main course and some small plates, but we couldn't finish everything. We didn't order wine, and the total cost was just over $20 per person.

Glenn Stedman: I cannot recommend this restaurant.Firstly the beer is served hot, this already puts customers off.The food is average, and definitely expensive when there is a seating charge of 5 EGP /person plus t4% tax and then a 12% service charge on top. So a 500EGP meal including drink will cost 665EGP.The owner allows the cat to climb on your table to try and eat your food, no effort to try and move the cat away.Then at the end of the meal when the bill is presented the owner states that the credit card machine doesn't work and must pay in cash.This is the game that many restaurants in Egypt play and the best solution is to say you don't have enough cash, the credit card machine then suddenly works.Owner deliberately wants cash so doesn't have to pay the tax to the Government and can pocket it.I would never go back to this restaurant.

merjim groen: Ik heb niet veel ervaring met italiaans eten, maar ik zou zeggen dat het vlees te gaar is en de rijst zeker. Verder nette bediening, nadat ik eerst werd genegeerd. Wellicht omdat ik ongeschoren en met woestijnstof op mijn schoenen binnenkwam. Dat kan toch geen reden zijn? Toen ik eerst alleen bier wilde omdat ik op een zakenrelatie wachtte werd ik pas echt de zaak uitgekeken. Toen de relatie uiteindelijk kwam werd de bediening een stuk vlotter. Vreemd.
I. E.: Pour un restaurant bien noté et « haut de gamme », j’ai été très déçue. Je trouve le service médiocre et nonchalant. La nourriture était de très mauvaise qualité, sans aucune saveur, ni assaisonnement. Les pizzas n’avaient aucun goût, très fades. Nous les avons pas fini. Juste l’envie de fuir l’endroit. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

TOM PHELAN: The hotel is impeccably clean. The staff are friendly and always on hand to assist. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels whilst working for my company and this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The executive lounge is fantastic. The breakfasts and dinner choices are great and they change the dinner options everyday which is great as I stayed for 16 nights. I used the gym a few times and it's fantastic. It has weights, running machines etc. There is a lovely outdoor pool also. Honestly, I can't fault the hotel, Stay if you can, you won't regret it.

C E: We stayed in the room 258 and after two nights I have to go straight to the physiotherapist because I can’t move my back. The bed and pillows that used to be the jewel of any Marriott Hotel is here the worst nightmare. The mattress is old and it is in a terrible shape. The bathroom looked very old and it’s not well maintained. Also, the view from our room was really ugly and we weren’t allowed to use the terrace as they were painting the front of building. The staff is very nice and professional.
