Sohabe Hashmi: Iconic hotel and location. They don't make hotels like this anymore. The hotel is grand and property is well kept. The service is very good and lives up to 5 stars. Definitely many different rooms and what you may expect from the advertised photography is not what you will necessarily get.Over the phone it is very difficult to deal with the hotel, emails will work best and do not expect a response right away.The food was great. The hotel is on the pricey side both for staying and food.Walking distance you can find few shows and a gas station that has snacks and foods, cigarettes, etc.You could walk to the Pyramids if you like but I would arrange a taxi to be honest if it is a hot.The views are spectacular. A word of warning the pyramid view rooms are great but most are somewhat obstructed. The rooms are a bit old and the hotel itself is a bit old.Security is good. Oddly many taxi drivers had difficulty finding the place due to road closures and familiar ways they knew how to arrive their, but they would ask a local andIt is about 45 minutes to 1 hours away from the airport depending on traffic, there is almost always traffic in Cairo. The hotel is far away from Cairo downtown area.

Donr expect to see any true Arabic culture as its all touristFood sucks big time in the international restaurant. Italin restaurants is better. Rooms are old. The pyramid are not always illuminated at night. So don't always expect to see them at night... it's an egypt thing

FAB TRAVEL: We booked this hotel to enjoy the Pyramids and soak up the atmosphere of Cario.But instead our stay is being adversely and significantly impacted by huge wedding receptions that seem to take priority over the experience and comfort of other guests.Tonight instead of enjoying a lovely dinner outside with a view of the pyramids instead we were front row to a huge construction site building a stage for a massive wedding tomorrow night, fully obscuring our view of the pyramids, let alone all the noise and disco lights flooding the entire area, shining into our eyes. Which I can assure you is a mood killer.So that means tomorrow night instead of a construction site we will be front row to someones ostentatious wedding - again obscuring the pyramids.And tonight there is yet another huge celebration on the other side of the hotel around the pool area that our room faces. The music is ridiciously loud. We left dinner early because of the construction site and the disco lights planning to sit in peace and quiet on our balcony.But we can't sit on our balcony as the music is just so loud. So loud we can't even watch TV.It's now 2230 at night and we have been told that it will continue until 2300. We were also told the volume would be lowered. That has not happened.There would be hundreds of rooms impacted the same way.We booked a hotel not a wedding reception venue.Surely if a hotel of this standard is going to book weddings they should have minimum impact on the quality of the experience of other guests.We paid a lot of extra money to stay here and feel it has been wasted.If like us, your time in Cario is a once in a lifetime visit, I'd strongly suggest you chose a hotel that values guests over wedding receptions which we have been happens very frequently.What's more important your hotel business or weddings. You can't have both if one severely impacts the other. And would seem this hotel has not proceedures to ensure just that.Just look at the promotional images the hotel uses as a reason to book, against the reality of our stay.We didn't book this hotel for photos of a tacky ostentatious wedding in the reflective pool.

Hanafy Fouly: I understand the need for US citizens and consulate to be protected. the whole neighborhood is secured for protection of US consulate and its working citizens. When a US citizen in foreign country asked them for help or protection, then no help or protection without reason. The US passport has statement that the bearers should provide the passport for aid and help. The US citizen services do not provide what is written in passport papers. I do not understand!!!
MOHAMED HASSAN: STAFF DONOT KNOW THE LAWMy Family were selected for a DV lottery and they did not think that my sister does not have a right to enter the interview however her paperwork were sent from KCC. I do not understand what kind of Training the US embassy staff training get but something needs to be done with the department of State. I changed the interview location to a different embassy outside Egypt.

Summer’s Channel قناتي: The quality of providing assistance to US citizens in Egypt has gone downhill post-covid. The pandemic is officially over, yet, the embassy is still conducting business as if we are still in lock-downs! No walk-ins appointments allowed, online appointments available for only few days a month and ofc are fully booked for months ahead. Even the website is super crashy n keeps redirecting me back to home page. The one-star review is for having a working phone number and a live representative that actually answers (although super rushy).

Mohamed Hamza: A provocative woman refuses simply for refusal, in a manner that lacks tact and tact, as the other window is set for favoritism and middlemen.

You pay the American government money, and the ghoulish old employee comes and refuses the treatment in less than ten seconds.4 months of treatment for this interview. The least I did was open the file and see my papers.What a disrespectI have admission to the university. I have a bank statement of 700,000 Saudi pounds, equivalent to 6 million pounds. I have a letter guaranteeing a university degree.I asked the old female employee. I told her why the refusal. Can you explain? She said, “Goodbye.” Ok, can you explain, bye, and give you a patch. You have no right to appeal the decision, but you can pay a second time, hahaha, and the lying American embassy returns and rejects you. God suffices me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
