kal loul: THEFT ALERT!!!!!! I stayed at this hotel for a week. The service was great and the staff were nice and accommodating but that didn’t end as well as it started. I bought a box of sweets and had them covered with gold paper as a special order that cost me $350. I stopped at the front desk and asked them to keep it in the fridge for me. They asked me to go to my room and they will send someone to pick them up. The staff member came and picked the box up. I told him it’s an expensive item that is fragile and needs refrigeration. He confirmed that they will take care of it. Little did I know I handed my box to a thief. When checking out I asked for the box. They kept making calls and employees were running around looking for it. They kept telling me that my box is safe and it’s there. I knew something was fishy. After 2 hours of waiting they came and said that someone “accidentally” took it home. They tried to cover up the story by saying it was an accident and then found out that in order for any employee to leave the hotel with any items they would have to get the item checked out by security so that proved to me that it was an organized crime. Do NOT leave your items with anyone and make sure you lock everything up because they will steal your stuff. It is unfortunate to see a nice hotel that charges a minimum of $250/night but is still unsafe. I was livid and felt cheated. Marriott promises the best quality of service and treatment but they failed this time. They offered me a lame 500 Egyptian pounds which is around $20 and I almost missed my flight. Why do people have to be so bad all the time? The police didn’t do anything and they refused to write a report. I even talked to the head of police but he was useless. Be careful not to get robbed. Bad bad bad

Arti Soejitno: Gorgeous hotel with stunning interior and warm friendly staffs. Also part of Marriot Bonvoy so you get your points and as well certain discounts when staying here. I love their breakfast food variety, simple but premium quality. Room is superb and they are very generous on supplying complimentary snacks and fresh fruits to the room.The pillow come with different quality you can choose from soft to medium and hard. Towel and other amenities are lovely. Definitely value for money. Highly recommend for trip to Cairo.
