Noi ci siamo stati alla ricerca, come facciamo in ogni paese che visitiamo, del Piccolo Principe in lingua locale. Il personale gentilissimo ci ha assistito con gentilezza e disponibilità. Vale la pena farci un giro.

5a. hus: Back in the day, art, I visited them in 2019 and took pictures from the inside with all respect and calmness, and one of them came to me and told me it is forbidden, so I said I am filming to publish on Google and Snap and tell people that here is a library and there is a cafe for reading, and he said it is forbidden, so I said okay, and now.. they are looking for someone to advertise for them 🤣

Ian Harris: Nice store and grounds of you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Wander around the beautiful albeit not cheap books, mostly (all?) in English and covering a bit of everything.We were lucky and there was -20% or so on purchases, and you can pay with credit card.
Christian Schubert: I live in Cairo, and since 2018 this store had always stood out as one of the very (!) few interesting bookstores in Cairo. Not anymore. It has become quite boring, the staff seems unprofessional. Asking for the catalogue, for instance, is asking too much! Cannot recommend this place anymore, and I say this as a fan of AUC Press itself!

I feel this nostalgia for staying there for ever. Hope that one day an opening for listeners access be available for the people like me who are not studying at AUC and wish to attend the lectures and events.In brief, I adore this place.

The prices are quite standard and special here, if you want to buy books specifically on Egypt, Egyptology and more this is the right place. New niche novels from various author and various genre also available. A must visit bookstore!
