Ali Jali: All you need under one roofAll you can think ofThere are very nice popular coffee shops
majd bub: A popular market with various products and gifts such as clothes, pottery, perfumes and popular cafes. You find street vendors, singers, and whatever you want in coffee shops. The market is crowded and the alleys are narrow. It is best to visit it at night.
Osama Al-kholy:
Murat Aksu: Like grand bazaar in Turkey, nice souvenirs. A bit hassle and need to bargain for the prices. But good experience for a foreigner. Crowded even at nights.
The best car mats in Egypt
Khalid Alghamdi: Historic, and it needs more time. Its best time is in Ramadan
Safa: It is a very popular place, and you are better off not bringing expensive things with you and things you are afraid of.Al-Fishawi and Naguib Mahfouz Coffee is a very nice thing and an enjoyable experience among the beautiful shops and sales of Egyptian needs
Waled Ahmed: wonderful place
ahmed montaser: A place with ancient history and heritage
Wael Elnemr: A special place with a fragrant history, shops for antiques, antiques, and silver and gold artifacts
Jessica Egarin: A must-see place in the heart of old Cairo! The cab dropped us on the other side of the street. Crossing the road is not an option unless one wants to die! There is an underground passage to safely cross the street and get to the Souk. Please choose that option if it happens to you. Once in the bazaar, we were overwhelmed with scents of spices, incense, fresh mint tea… There are so many treasures to find there! Just go and play it by ear, let the narrow streets lead you wherever they may take you :)Have some cash with you as shops don’t always accept credit cards and when they do, they add an extra 10% to the bill.
Amr Nada: amazing
ahmed Alnemr: nice place
Mohamed Gomaa: Interesting market, nice to walk around.Crowded to the maximum, not hygienic at all.
Siddharth Das: Busy, over priced tourist trap. Though it has interesting memorabilia and no visit to Cairo is complete without visiting this market
Beautiful and all jokes
Hichem Boualem: Bonne 100% touristique

Ravenn. etc.).

AHMED BADAWI: The towers of the fort were decorated with illuminated candles at the beginning of each month, allowing visitors to trace the path of the sun as it moved from one tower to the next, earning this fort the nickname Qasr el Shamee, or the candles palace. Within the fortress's perimeter are six Coptic churches, a convent, and the Coptic Museum.According to historians, the name Babylon originally referred to the capital of a neighboring nation by that name. However, another possibility links the name to the old Pr-Hapi-n-Iwnw (Nile house of Heliopolis), which was the deity's residence in Heliopolis city; Habi was the Nile's god.
aomar &: I cried when I visited this edifice from which the light of Islam entered the land of Kinana
Habenom Tesfai: Nice place to see. Get there before 4pm.
Captian Ahmed Refaat: The Babylon Fortress is located in Coptic Cairo at the Mar Gerges subway station. The Emperor Trajan had ordered its construction in the second century AD during the era of the Roman occupation of Egypt. It was restored, expanded and strengthened by the Roman Emperor Arcadius in the fourth century, according to the opinion of the Coptic scholar Morcos Smeika Pasha, and this Trajan castle is not the castle. The ancient city mentioned by Strabo the historian, and its location was to the south of the Palace of Wax, near the present-day Babylon Monastery.Stones taken from Pharaonic temples were used in the construction of the fort and were completed with red bricks. Nothing remains of the fort buildings except the frontal door surrounded by two large towers - the hanging church was built over one of the two towers, the frontal part of it - and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George at the entrance to the tribal museum was built over the tower. As for the rest of the fort, and on the rest of the wall in some of its parts from the eastern, tribal, and western sides, churches were built - the Hanging Church - Abu Serga - Saint Georges - the Virgin Mary Qasryat Al-Rayhan - and Saint Georges Monastery for the nuns - and the Lady Barbara - and a temple for the Jews.In the year 641, the fort fell in the hands of Amr ibn al-Aas, after a siege that lasted about seven months, 18 Rabi` al-Akhir 20 AH, and its fall signaled the entry of Islam into Egypt. Mokattam in the east and behind it the desert in which the Arabs are good at hit-and-run, war, the Nile in the west, and the ford of Birkat al-Habash in the south, which are two natural barriers, according to what was mentioned by the State Information Service website. The Roman fort is known as the Palace of Candles or the Castle of Babylon, and its area is about half a square kilometer. Inside it is the Coptic Museum, six Coptic churches and a monastery. The name of the Palace of Candles on this fort is also due to the fact that at the beginning of every month, wax was lit on one of the towers of the fortress on which the sun appears and informs People fueled by wax as the sun moved from one tower to another.

(Translated by Google
Mohamed Soliman: The Babylon Fortress is often called the birthplace of Cairo. It is the oldest part of the city and dates back to the Bronze Age.The Babylon Fortress gets its name from Babylon in Mesopotamia. It is believed that the area was once ruled by the Mesopotamian King, Nebuchadnezzar. It was later the site where the Roman Emperor Trajan placed his legions to subjugate the people of Egypt. At the time it marked the boundary between Middle and Lower Egypt. Today it is part of Coptic Cairo where the Christian population of the city lives. When the Arabs invaded Egypt, the fortress defended the city for seven months before falling to the army led by General Amr Ibn Al As.Today the Babylon Fortress has several Coptic structures built into its walls. The towers are 10 meters high and have a diameter of 31 meters. It has a pattern typical of Roman fortresses with five blocks of limestone and three blocks of brick. There are six Coptic churches, a convent and the Coptic Museum within the walls. It is also called the Qasr el Shamee or the Palace of Candles because candles illuminated the towers on the first of every month.
Mohamed Walaa-edin: Coptic church
Mostafa Kamel: The Babylon Fort is located in Cairo, the Old Cairo district, and was built in the fourth century in the Roman era. There is nothing left of the fort except the tribal door. Two large towers were built on one of them, the Saint George Church for the Greek Orthodox. As for the rest of the walls, the churches of Abu Raja, the Virgin and Saint George Monastery were built on them. For the Nuns, the Synagogue, and the Six Barbara

Jon J.: No photo or video can ever prepare you for this. I suggest arriving at opening time, it was nice and breezy most of the time I was there, and I had a lot of spots all to myself.Do NOT enter through the Sphinx gate if you are a solo explorer like me, you'll walk a long uphill path in the sun and then it's over 3km to the panoramic spot without counting the time looking at the Pyramids since the smallest one is quite out of the way. I entered through the Khufu Pyramid gate and it was perfect, beat the hundreds of tour busses that arrived around 9.
Adam Van Zuabi: The pyramids are truly awe-inspiring, but there was one aspect that proved to be quite bothersome. When I rented a horse to capture panoramic pictures, the man initially asked for 20 euros. However, upon finishing, he requested additional tips and I gave him 100 Egyptian pounds. To my disbelief, he then insisted on 50 euros as tips. This was an unacceptable situation. Furthermore, there were individuals who would forcefully take pictures with you and then demand payment. Additionally, some locals would pressurize you into purchasing their products, resorting to insults if you declined.
Bar Richter: Incredible to see the pyramids after hearing about them my whole life. Very expensive though. Make sure to ask for government prices so you don’t get cheated since the entry fee doesn’t include a camel/horse and a guide

eve harrison: Wonferfull..the best time to visit is in november to april
sujith guru: The Great Sphinx of Giza, near Cairo, is arguably the world’s most prestigious sculpture. The Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt, built-in 2500 BC during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, lies on the Giza plateau directly in front of the Great Pyramid of Giza.Although the primary motive for the Sphinx’s construction is unknown, some historians and archaeologists think the sculptures were sculpted to protect vital places that play a crucial role in keeping up to the status of being one of the iconic historical places in the world.
Stela Borotea: Un luogo unico nel mondo

Every time I ask one of the brothers from the Gulf, how is your visit to the pyramids, he says a monument in a monument and his sharpness, they disturb your mood. The biggest swindler named Houda, please take care of the area and monitor it.
