I D: شركه زباله و موظفين ناصبين و زباله و العربيات قديمه و تعبانهStaff are not professional and rude especially Mohamed Salem and Hitham and they ask for tips all time.I picked up my rental for Cairo international l airport , I waited around one hour to pick my car with no reason only because employees are lazy also another employee in the company offered me to rent a car with a driver from the company after explaining to him I only want my rental he stopped pushing on me to rent another car which does not make sense as I will not be able to take two cars , the car they gave it to me as rental was Nissan sunny was very dirty in inside as showed in photos and seat are full of dirt , staff asked me for tips after they gave me the keys , also they gave me a parking ticket to leave the parking lot and asked me to pay 10 Egyptian pound at the parking gate , I did have Egyptian money and they do not accept credit card which make me head back to airport and enter through security and exchange money which took another hour and half I flew for almost 18 hours and I was very tired, any way after one day of using the car I realized that the car is not safe t drive and breaks is very weak , and the parking sensor always give false warning very noisy , front glass wipers does not work appropriately and te tire are very old and almost done, I called then to exchange the car and they said they don’t have alternative car, I regret renting from euro car after this bad experience.Also staff are very very rude and asks for tipsCheck the care carefully for damage as they are not honest and they will charge you for old damages , I took a video of the car they played smithy dirty game with me and charged me 48$ because the car was dirty Fron out side from out side they Chrge it me for 48$ What thy use to wash’s it

Hayden Mohr: Don’t rent a car with these scammers. The initial pickup was decent, took a long time because of all the paperwork required. Absolutely nothing like how it is in the states.Drop off was horrible. The person who I was speaking with over the phone was very rude and yelled at me for not going to the right drop off location (when I couldn’t because of police barriers) and also got mad at me for not calling 30 minutes out, even though I did- I think he forgot that part. We only drove twice in the car from point a to point b and was never hit or hit anyone. The examination of the car at drop off was one of the most comprehensive and unnecessary I have ever seen in my life. The guy at one point was down on all fours looking at every angle of the car. He even at one point opened the back passenger side door and hit and gave a door ding to the person next to us. Somehow someway he was able to find a scratch on the back of the bumper we know we didn’t cause. Super frustrating. They charged us $50 for it, even though they couldn’t provide paperwork of the initial assessment. Also, the guy had me sign a random point of the paper and when he sent me paperwork of the claim later, they wrote $50 next to my signature indicating that they had told me a price, that I had agreed to pay the $50 and signed next to it when that didn’t happen, they wrote it in later. Super, super sketchy.I would recommend not to book with this agency at all. Horrible horrible service even after the fact when I had a few questions about filing a claim with insurance with reimbursement and to ask for supporting documents such as the initial assessment of the vehicle I had signed off on. I wish I would have known that there were other rental car options.DO NOT BOOK WITH EUROPCAR AS THEY ARE CASH HUNGRY, SHADY, AND SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS. Just read a few other reviews on here about them and you’ll get a good sense as to why it is not a good idea.
xavier roig: The initial paperwork at the airport went really well and the clerk there was spot on and very helpul.The car we rented run pretty well, a Nissan Sunny. Be aware though, that on these model, the fuel tank reading is rather faulty and a 3rd of the tank actually means that it is pretty much in reserve!And here comes the reason for my 2 star rating. When returning the car, I was welcomed by a dodgy character named Mohamed Samy. He incessantly but subtly, did everything he could to blackmail me into bribing him in order for him not to report a bump on the roof that was not reported on the initial car condition report. The strategic position and shape of the bump seem like a clear scam strategy that he uses on unwary foreign customers. The bump is located right in the middle back of the roof , just below the antenna; a place no-one looks when checking the vehicle. He tried to pin on me other scratches or the fact the car was dirty, ignoring the fact that it actually rained dirt! the day before, being Egypt a dusty country, to say the least.He also tried to sugar-coated it all by offering a "free" ride to my nearby accomodation, so he could appear to be on my side while using the company car as taxi.Be wary of this particular character, whom Europcar should immediately get sacked, but of many, many others like him (con artists) that you will surely encounter on a daily basis while visiting the country.

Mikaello: Stay away from ALAMO & EUROPCAR (its a partnership), extremely unprofessional and do not respond to phonecalls. Check the car yourself and take a video upon rental if you must rent from them. I mean INSIDE and out as they are incompetent and will try and charge you for damages and scratches that were already there. Poor experience especially Mahmoud and Mohammed.
johnny Hernandez: First of all do not rent from these people! They are incompetent, unprofessional and lack any common courtesy and knowledge. How Europcar has these guys operating in an international airport is beyond me. I’ve never seen such poor customer service. Tamer and the manager Mohammed have no idea how to operate the desk, communicate over the phone or process a reservation correctly. I was lied to. Overcharged and never refunded my money for the mistake that Tamer deliberately created.Do not rent from this company. As I wrote this, I have also included a formal complaint letter to Europcar and the Cairo Airport as well as foreign relations at the Consulate of the US. It’s my belief that they are taking advantage of foreign tourists and overcharging people, lying about unlimited mileage, delivery fees. It happened to me and I have been speaking to a former guest of theirs who said the same thing happened to them. Shame on them for treating good customers like this.

They either don’t answer at all or they do answer and give fake promises to refund the hold amount (500$)More than a month now and i am yet to get back my money (500$) or even get a response to my Emails (9 E-mails sent)I totally don’t recommend for anyone unless someone wants to lose his money.

Kirill: Не связывайтесь с ними, вернул машину в идеальном состоянии, при приемке все было ОК, все подписали, через два дня списали с карты 100$, начал разбираться говорят скол на лобовом и присылают исправленный акт, хотя брал машину на день и проехал меньше 100км, судя по отзывам такое практикуют практически с каждым клиентом. Фото скола прислали такое что не видно ничего, в общем любят кидать на деньги.

Ahmed Raafat: If you are visiting Egypt, please never ever use this company. It has nothing to do with the global Enterprise company.The Egyptian staff is so poor and unprofessional.They even failed to explain the rental terms to us properly and set up a trap to overcharge us for mileage.on top of that, they charged us for old stains in the interior that we know nothing about. I felt scammed and regret to book a car with this extremely unprofessional and un honest company.

I have been using enterprise for over 4 years worldwide, and thought Egypt would be the same being a global reputable company… They will try to overcharge you on any stain, scratch or anything minor they can find even if it wasn’t you BE WARE! I had taken a video of the car before showing all existing scratches and the previous inspection report had noted a scratch in that area but was told that it was a new scratch and was charged for it. It was on the bottom front bumper of the car so the video couldn’t capture it well since the car was parked in an area that’s not very well lit. They even tried to charge me for an existing scratch on the side of the car!! but I insisted that they check previous documents and pictures and they found out it WAS ACTUALLY THERE…I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company and made them aware that I do not accept their claims. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY AWAY!

Mohammed Almihdar: Worst experience ever. Made a reservation to pick up a car, spoke to the representative and agreed that I would be later than planned. When I arrived the car was no longer there. It took me 20 minutes to find the place which is licated in the basement of the Plaza. No signs, no directions nothing.The staff were not polite, they did not care and did not even try to find a solution. All they kept saying the car is no longer avaialable and they sent it back to the airport. If that was the case, simply bring it back. I showed them an email I received that says the car was handed over to the customer, they just said it is a system issue. It is obvious they gave it to someone else!Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Oliver Mitchell: Perfect day in Cairo. We got picked up by a very nice car with a very good driver at the exact at the time of our rendezvous.Our guide Ahmed Magdy was very very good. He’s a real connoisseur of the Egyptian culture and history in general. He showed us the pyramids, the Cairo Museum & the souk, explaining us everything and asking all our questions. He even took pictures of us during the whole day. We recommend this tour and we hope you get Ahmed as well.

Mariana Gomes: I booked a half-day tour for Daschur, Saqqara and Memphis and both my guide and the driver barely spoke English.The guide Mostafa provided very few words on each of these sites and was not clear while communicating. What shocked me the most is that Mostafa did not have any touristic license and was avoiding the gards or bribing them to let us in.I am really disappointed... Lost my time and money with this tour.
Dawn Abt: We booked all our tours and transportation in Cairo and Luxor with Emo tours. The airport transportation was the only part I can recommend. The first full day tour in Cairo we did not make it two of the locations that were on the itinerary. We didn’t even do the optional camel ride or stop at the paper museum and still didn’t make it to the last two pyramids, so I don’t think it is actually possible to fit in everything that was promised. Emo did not pay the entrance fees in advance but still would not refund our money for those places we didn’t make it to. The next day our driver was 40 minutes late and then drove us almost an hour in the wrong direction until we finally noticed. We were going to major tourist sites so there is no reason he shouldn’t know the way. Luxor was just a disaster with Emo tours. The guide was again late and showed up in a car much smaller than what we paid for. We immediately called Emo but they never sent a bigger car as promised. The car didn’t even have back windows and wreaked of cigarette smoke. Our teenage daughter had to sit sideways as there was no room for her legs. The tour guide was just awful and made no effort to even pretend like she enjoyed her job. I’m pretty sure in Luxor they just out source to whoever they can find that day because the car had no Emo logos and we had to pull up the itinerary to tell the guide where to go. Again, Emo refused to refund the difference for the price of the car. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with this company.

Thalia Gonzalez: .I know the guide does other tours and I know you messaged me the day before saying there were no Spanish guides so my guess is that you sent her because you didn't have other people, not because this is her area of expertise.It was a very disappointing experience specially as Dendarah was one of my favourite temples in all Egypt.The agency immediately responded that a refund would impact the guide. The guide should have made an effort and research but the agency are the ones who provided an unqualified guide so I don't see why this should hurt a single mum of two and not an unprofessional agency.This trip was my biggest regret in Egypt where I have to say I wasn't lucky with any guides.Other than that Egypt was incredible, everybody should go at least once.

Be prepared to be hustled relentlessly!!Pros: the car was comfortable - but you are paying plenty, so this is a given.Cons: EVERYTHING about the service. None of us could relax because the driver would keep speaking to us in really broken English, acting very enthusiastic but with ONE goal - to try to get as much cash out of us as possible.Additionally, I was told to get a boat from my hotel in the Nubian village to go across to meet the driver at KFC in Aswan city. I was panicking trying to arrange a boat or taxi to take me over to the other side so we didn't miss our trip, but with no luck, until BAM! the driver suddenly arrives out of the blue at our hotel. When was the plan changed? Why weren't we told? What if we were already crossing the river? NONE of this was communicated to us. I found it incredible that we booked a private driver and they were not going to send him to our hotel!The worst thing was: Our driver was an absolute scumbag, trying to make money from us none stop, he did not care about us or our experience, just his wallet. This made the whole experience feel pressured instead of a lovely family experience. I understand there is poverty in Egypt but I feel victimised from our experience with Emo Tours.For extra detail, he buys your drinks for you without asking him to (and even stopped me buying my own drinks!) then charges you 3 times the price at the end. He tried to get me to go to the ATM to get cash out for him! Bare in mind I had two young children with me! He thought I would be an easy target. I recommend Emo Tours fire this person and offer me some personal apology and some refund to make up for the terrible experience.We actually have friends in Egypt so this is not a one-time visit for us, Emo Tours could have had reoccurring trade and recommendations from us but certainly won't now!

We have been in Egypt for only 3 days, and we still have 7 more days, all tours booked with Emo tours, but I just wanted to acknowledge the good work they are doing. All 3 days and tours were great and looking forward for the next ones. Our driver, mr Said is amazing and loved meeting and talking to him. Our guides, Rania and Soad were also very nice. Next stop: Aswan. Hope coming tours will be as nice as the ones we already had.

Shenny Ho: We booked the tour on GYG and it was a NIGHTMARE.The tour guide, Ahmed Hosny Elgohary, was NOT professional AT ALL.1. When we started the tour, my friend asked him if we were going to the Great Pyramids first. He said "Leave the best to the last." even though we've read the best time to go there is in the morning, but we trusted him, which is a mistake.2. We were at the Saqqara Pyramid around noon. Before we left, I asked him if we can take pics in front of the pyramids. He said yes, but he refused to take pics for us because he was "tired" and it was "too hot" that he didn't want to walk anymore. We had to take pics by ourselves.3. We spent a lot of time in the first two places. When we arrived at Great Pyramids it was 14:20 and the site closed at 3pm. He rushed us to buy tickets to go into the pyramid. When I came out from the pyramid he said the site is closed and we need to go. I asked him to tell me the history cuz I didn't only pay for the site, I paid for the guide too. He started complaining about being tired and thirsty and that the tour should end at 3pm doesn't matter if the tour is completed. He also blamed us for spending too much time in the first two places and taking too long to have lunch. However, he never told us how much time we had at each spot. At lunch he even told us to "take your time and enjoy it". And actually we only spent 40mins at lunch.4. The result of going to the Great Pyramids in the afternoon is that all pics of Sphinx are in a poor light.5. He asked me to pay for the parking at one of the sites because he "didn't have cash on him". He also used my charger to charge his phone in the car. I thought usually is the other way around, the tour guide usually has everything prepared? oh and of course he didn't pay me back.6. In my 10+ years of traveling experience, I've never met a tour guide that'd ask you to read the explanation board by yourself, except Ahmed. He even told us "don't ask questions".7. I called the agency and complained about this and the guy who answered the call and claimed he's the manager, "Mohamed", said would call me back ASAP. I haven't heard from them yet.Overall, it was horrible. Ahmed doesn't really speak English. If you ask him anything more than what he memorized, he can't answer you because he either doesn't know the answer or doesn't know how to say it in English.
C Acosta: We booked a short 4 day holiday to Egypt with our 3 children and Emo tours helped us out start to finish. Mona was patient with my many itinerary changes and assisted me in booking the best experiences but not too much stuffed into each day so the kids had some down time. Our guides were amazing and the drivers made us feel safe and well taken care of. Rania gave us a great tour of Alexandria and the resturant she took us too was on point. Essan was our tour guide for three days. His English was flawless and his knowledge of Egyptology gave us so much insight to everything we saw. He provided so many extras for the kids that kept them entertained and happy. For us he provided so many photo opportunities we don’t often get.. photos with everyone in them! Thanks so much for an amazing time.

Martijn Kaim: Sorry to say that I do not recommend booking a tour here. We did the full day pyramid tour and our guide rushed us through the sites. She skipped lunch in the middle and offered it at the end of the tour. She tried to lure us to a bazar and other shops where we were tricked in buying stuff. We just wanted to do what the itinerary said, but clearly our guide had other things in mind. And she kept talking about the big tip she wanted. It was awful!
