Martin Hills: The Filipina staff in this restaurant really made this a delightful evening meal.The main restaurant was full but as we were a party of 8, they put us in a private room at the end of the restaurant.Having lived in Hong Kong for over 30 years, my expectations of Chinese food overseas is quite low. I was impressed with the dishes we had here though and the additional small things the chef and staff did.The restaurant is very tastefully decorated.Well worth a visit.

Scott Latimer: Visited 8 twice on our 10 day visit to Egypt. Great respite from the traditional Egyptian fare. Everything was excellent and the staff was so gracious and kind. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Especially liked the hot and sour soup with shrimp rather than tofu. Great value especially the noodle dishes which are enough to share.

Nour Eldin: It’s quick,, like very quick that’s the good point but i find it overpriced and not tasty,, i ordered chicken sweet and sour , and naaah,, it was just okay,, and if you are hungry never go their despite you want to order at least 2 just for yourself 🤷🏻♂️. Fatima Umar: Took so much time to prepare the food. Ordered soy chicken sauce with plain rice and spicy beef sauce with spicy noodles. The sauces were all full of onions and peppers. If I had wanted onions I would have stayed home. The rice tasted spoilt while it seems the oil used for the noodles was stale.Was given incomplete change without explanation and when I went back to ask she simply said "I don't have it". The least they could have done is given an explanation along with the change.I hope it's just the City center Ma'adi branch that has become abysmal. Won't recommend. Lani White: What a tourist trap!!!! Went here with my tour group and already told that there would be a minimum of 600 EGP per person spend. Wasn’t too hard to do considering the ridiculous markup of prices eg a small Stella beer is 140EGP (and you can get it for 40EGP in the bottle shop next door). Serves Egyptian food which was the blandest we’ve had throughout our entire stay and tiny portion sizes. The menu claims to include 14% VAT and 12% service but when we got the bill suddenly our guide stated it was 750 EGP each due to cover charges. Absolute joke especially given the poor quality of food. Would recommend going to Zooba or Cairo Kitchen if you want good egyptian food for 1/10th of the price less than 100m away.
