Frank Reviews: Wonderful restaurant and location overseeing the Nile river. The food was good but not superb. The service was excellent. Overall, very good dinning experience.
Martin Hills: The Filipina staff in this restaurant really made this a delightful evening meal.The main restaurant was full but as we were a party of 8, they put us in a private room at the end of the restaurant.Having lived in Hong Kong for over 30 years, my expectations of Chinese food overseas is quite low. I was impressed with the dishes we had here though and the additional small things the chef and staff did.The restaurant is very tastefully decorated.Well worth a visit.

Scott Latimer: Visited 8 twice on our 10 day visit to Egypt. Great respite from the traditional Egyptian fare. Everything was excellent and the staff was so gracious and kind. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Especially liked the hot and sour soup with shrimp rather than tofu. Great value especially the noodle dishes which are enough to share.

Lettuce was also still very wet. Had to turn it over to get rid of the excess water.I very nicely asked the manager to show the dish to the chef. They comped me a lovely fruit platter and sorbet.I’m happy to pay for an expensive meal, but I expect the quality to meet the price.I’m afraid I would not order the duck again….

Privacy is the most important feature of the place, where the arrivals sit each group of them in a semi-closed room. The noodle soup was wonderful and its price did not exceed 45 pounds. Mohammad El Maghraby: The least competent among Asian restaurant of the same category, we were four friends, and we are all Asian food fans, none of us was happy with the food, nor the service. The only thing we liked was the compartments that gives some comfort and privacy. They use below average ingredients, whole chicken dish was mainly bones. Noodles were plain, the hot wings were very greasy. Wouldn't recommend it at all, especially with the Chinese Muslim metres away.

Explore MyHood: This restaurant is located in a quiet area of Maadi and has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Decor and music add to an authentic ambience . Service was initially slow since we arrived right after noon and apparently they were just getting started. That being said, we ordered Chinese and Indian dishes all of which were tasty and plentiful. The appetizers of chicken satay and spring rolls were very good. Overall, this is now one of our favorite pan-Asian cuisine restaurants in Maadi with Chinese, Indian and Thai dishes and will make a trip back
