P J: I tried this hotel due to the convenient location. It is close to most tourist spots, close to restaurants and the Museums. The hotel itself has a few good restaurants if you wish to dine in after a long day. The Turkish and the Italian restaurants are the two that I tried. Can highly recommend both of them. The rooms itself are good. We went for the suite with Nile view. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Mahmoud Dok: 🤮Very bad place at all, very high price compering to others in dawn town, 7th floor usually the elevator doesn't work, not professional stuff taking advantage from you by selling trips, it's difficult to meet anyone because no space only some plastic seats, it's not even hostel it's rooftop, and the building isn't safe at all, a lot of cats every were, some noise from drunk guys. I don't recommend at all.Noteworthy details: Very bad place at all. 🤮

Sam Johnson: Spent three nights here. 5 / 5 as far as local hotels go. Rooms were functional, the place was clean, and our room had a private bath which was nice. Lots of space to lounge on the rooftop, which was really nice, little oasis in the city to take a break from the chaos of Cairo. Breakfast is available and very affordable. Lots of conveniences too - they’ve got water and drinks to purchase for fair prices, and it’s close to a couple of decent local takeout places for easy meals. Would recommend.

Amanda Johnson: we had a fantastic time here. The location is awesome for exploring the city. We loved the rooftop after a long day to lounge. The rooms were very basic but the beds were far more comfortable than they looked. The breakfast was very good and very affordable. There are lots of places to eat nearby. Overall I would recommend this hostel.

Wi-fi good, breakfast Egyptian and good.Rooms: The rooms are basic, but it's a great price, they are clean and private and you can tip your stuff out of your bag, shared showers are fine with loads of hot water.Safety: Super safe for backpapckers, a proper haven for some peace and quiet, reading or journal writing. Cairo is manic, but Dahab is an oasis.

Reminding that I've been there a few years ago.Well located in the heart of downtown Cairo. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The installations are clean and the prizes are really affordable. Oh! I really enjoyed the breakfast.Dahab Hostel is also a hub for travellers and a place to get to know people and exchange travelling experiences.I will definitely go back (I already did once).Strongly recommended.

In the interior you can admire the marble stairs,statues, carved furniture, romantic lighting and long corridors . Rooms are cozy,spacy, clean and nice decorated with big beds. There was no top sheet on the beds, just a blanket that looked unclean. The mattress fell through the bed. There was free tea and coffee in the reception.Rooms: Very basic.Nearby activities: It's very central and the museum is very close.Safety: Very safe. You need a key to use the lift, or call reception to make the lift go up.Walkability: Close to Go Bus station.Food & drinks: Tea and coffee was free in the reception.
