Lani White: Local Egyptian food in a wholesome setting - we got the moussaka with rice (best dish!!!), balady salad, babaganoush and spiced potatoes. Fair price and good portion sizes. Will definitely be coming back!

W: I was looking forward to eating here but was very disappointed. Firstly, a few items in the menu were not available (they did not have the dish of the day - chicken walnut, and the only juice available was hibiscus) and most of all, the meat and chicken were absolutely not fresh. We had the beef tagen with onions, the beef was tough as rubber, while the chicken in the muloukihya was very suspicious - tasted like the chicken had been boiled separately beforehand then frozen, and just dumped into the muloukhiya and reheated before serving. We had good food during our trip and this was probably the only disappointment, so sadly cannot give a good rating. The only saviour was the service which was good (but then again we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch as it was Ramadan)

Hafsa Zaghmout: Very small place but nice, the food is really home made and had a very authentic taste. I had kofta with potatoes in the oven, with rice, grilled vegetables and Egyptian pickle. The taste was amazing. The only drawback was when I requested the rest of my meal be wrapped for rake away, I was surprised when I got home to find the put the picks over the rice and vegetables!!!

Luis Lopez: Roy’s Smokehouse in the Marriott, was a great interpretation of an American bbq joint with better service and great staff. Ibrahim took care of us he was very kind and friendly. Definitely recommend to drop in for a good meal and great experience if you need a quick break from the local cuisine.

Oliver Krantz: On the ground floor of the Zamalek Towers, this is a great casual Mexican with Exellent food.As its out the way of the main restaurants it's also quieter, which was important for me. Not a huge menu but sufficient, poor selection for vegetarians if that's what you are looking for.

Numa Magalhaes: This is the BEST soups in town. BOTH GAsser and Ayman and very friendly and are ready to listen to special needs and dietary request. The salads are also very healthy and creative. The atmosphere is light and happy !

Serkan Durmusoglu: The service is good; the old style sea food soup is excelent. Just spicy as it should be (I am not a great fan of hot spices though). I ordered the Marriott Burger; where I can only give 2 stars for that; the meat had no sold, or lacking any kind of spice. Minced thick, not easy to eat. The melted chese on the top look good, but not tastes good. However, I will come again to have some american food fajitasand 🍺

Muhieddine Elhoss: We stayed at Dusit for 5 nights. We had breakfast there every day.Food quality is average. You would expect much more from a 5 star resort that charges a premium rate per night.Imagine having just 2 type of fruit every day for 5 consecutive days. The pastry section was disappointing. Cheese and cold cuts were ok. Omelet station was great. Staff are friendly and welcoming.Overall 6/10

We are used to eating in biggest hotels in the world and greatest restaurants, and we were fully satisfied by food offered at Straight Kitchen !We enjoyed being advised by chefs Sameh & Ahmed who always took time to explain us each meal and give their recommendations that was everytime a success !Service was perfect, kind, professional and we would like to thank especially Ahmed (the tallest one from service), Kareem, Mostafa and their manager who was always there to care about us.Always smiling welcome desk girls Mohrail & Jehan were also a big plus.We would definitely recommend this restaurant and thank them for making our stay unforgettable !
Ziad Magdoub: Where do I begin? Excellent staff with exceptional service. They were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful.The food was exquisite. Top notch quality and taste. Everything was made to perfection. When certain items were not to my specific taste, the chefs made a plate just for me. Also, the variety was astounding. From seafood to sushi to steaks. It truly felt like a buffet.Lastly, the price is absolutely reasonable. 475++ EGP per person. For such a quality open buffet, it's extremely fair if not a bit low.Definitely recommend.
