Eventually changed at the hotel which I should have done from the start. No passport is needed since you stay in a hotel. S Mahmoud: Worst currency exchange in Cairo. Some guy claims he is the manager of the place and he is the rudest person I’ve ever seen!! Sent me 3 times to do different things, passports, photocopy, etc… then said he can’t give me currency, won’t listen to you and thinks people are asking for favours from him rather than coming as customers for business.!!
