Ahmed Zidan: The location is amazing, exactly at the centre of the city, beside Metro hub, and almost every facility you might need.The price: I give it very good if you compare it to the location and accommodation quality.Cleanliness: accepted, though it could be better. I had few issues with shower water drainage, I guess it need to be updated. The soap given daily is so economic and small! It doesn't take much if you be a bit more generous in this regard!. Otherwise, the housekeeper ladies, including Mona, were doing a real goid job.Wifi: horrible network. Absolutely need to be improved. I gave up on the Hotel wifi, and used my data to save my time and temper.Breakfast: average to below. There was only one sort of coffee, a cheap Nescafe that barely tastes as Nescafe.The Basteries!! including croissants were terribly the most downside of the breakfast, they were always old, hard to chew, obviously were kept from the day before or even older!. I was very disappointed. Live station for preparing omlets was the only positive thing in the breakfast that seriously needs to be taken care of.All in all, good experience, putting all points together including particularly the price, location and the accepted accommodation. It's 's a place that practically does the job for medium budget trip.

andri z.: It was a good experience. The room was big and clean, the staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to my messages before our stay. Breakfast could be better but you can find something to eat because there is variety. One negative thing is the street noise. Despite staying on the 12th floor, I could hear car horns and because I need absolute silence to sleep, I used earplugs.
AnJaneen Simenson: The price you see listed as "total price" on booking sites is most definitely not the total price. Significant taxes and fees are added even though it is stated that all taxes and fees are added. Beware so you aren't surprised by your bill! If you don't pay attention, your bill will not be what you expect!Beds are very bad. My room has two beds. One is hard as a rock while the other is insanely soft with no support at all.Rooms are reasonably clean. They could be better maintained. Overall, very disappointed. I wish I stayed at my bed and breakfast at the pyramids. They actually wanted their customers to be happy. The people here don't care at all.The message light is lit on the phone. I called reception asking if I have a message. The man doesn't understand. I attempted to explain the light on the phone but was unable to have him understand. So, who knows if there is a message.Rooms: Rooms are fine. Could be better maintained. The beds are bad and very uncomfortable.Safety: Not a safe area. Don't go out at night.

Paola Brovelli: Soggiorno di 6 giorni. Posizione più che ottima, centrale e vicina al museo egizio oltre che alla fermata degli autobus. Alloggiato al 5 piano dello stabile, datato e un po' fatiscente internamente, per fortuna si sale in ascensore. La prima notte ci hanno dato una camera improponibile, in due in un letto da una piazza e mezza con un bagno che non aveva nemmeno lo spazio per utilizzare il water. Alle nostre lamentele ci hanno cambiato camera dandoci una con due letti singoli pur avendo chiesto in prenotazione una matrimoniale e la camera non aveva alcuna finestra, era una camera cieca, ma almeno aveva un bagno quasi normale. La colazione è ripetitiva e poco soddisfacente, il personale si sforza di essere gentile ma sempre la prima sera dopo aver lasciato i bagagli, stavamo uscendo e chi era di turno alla reception ci chiede dove stessimo andando, perché fuori era tutto chiuso. Siamo usciti senza ascoltare e abbiamo trovato tutti i locali aperti e con gente fino a tarda sera... Nel complesso è ottimo per la posizione ma il resto lascia desiderare.

Gregory Storkan: Good place in a very convenient location near the big square and easy walking distance to good restaurants. It's not a step-free entrance but they do have a lift to the 5th floor where the hotel is. Breakfast is a generic one with no choice, but good. The rooms with windows are very loud but Cairo quiets down pretty well and I had no trouble sleeping without earplugs, which was surprising given how loud it was during rush hour. Shower had little pressure but plenty of hot water, and beds were comfortable.Rooms: Small, but comfortable and clean. Don't worry about the daytime noise if you get a room with a window, as it quiets down a lot after midnight.
Anny Amaro: Ótima localização, próximo ao museu do Egito, restaurantes e distante 10 minutos a pé do Rio Nilo. Apesar de ficar em um prédio bastante antigo, os quartos são confortáveis e muito limpos (o que não é fácil de encontrar no Cairo nesta faixa de preço). Roupas de cama e toalhas bem limpas. Ficaria hospedada nele novamente.

Overall lthe hotel is in a great location, it is horrible, uncomfortable, beds are probably the worst I've ever slept on, breakfast is barely OK (always the same, 1 egg, some bread, tea...)Apparently all hotels in the city center are pretty much the same so no place to hdie other than regular hotels outside of Cairo which will force you to use uber to go anywhere.There's a pizza hut/Krispy kream/KFC nearby which is quite helpful.Neighborhood bit scary by night.I'd suggest to think Twice if you prefer city center in bad hotel or far away in a decent hotel...**pictures are not fake but highly edited. Then we got into the room, and we decided to stay all four days. It was, by far, the most spacious and different hotel we stayed in Egypt.The hotel is located near the Museum. You can visit walking, which is a big plus. Many stores and places to go from there, and the uber is not too expensive to most places. Zamalek (fancy neighborhood) is just 30 minutes from there with heavy traffic. It is true, however, that the place is insanely noisy. The rooms are not sound proofing. It was annoying even for me, who lives the whole life in front of an avenue.The service was great. The front desk guy was one of the, if not the, most kind person we met in Egypt. He was very attentive due to my stomach pain, helped me to replace the spicy soup I ordered at night and kept offering some tea for me. I wish he was promoted, he really deserves it. Thank you for being so kind and friendly with your guests. Oh, he very kindly microwaved my food, thank you so much.The room was very clean, the A/C was working nicely and the bathtub was quite comfortable (did not sit though). We were surprised by a toilet paper sculpture on the toilet vase, a charm I'd say.The breakfast was fine. The mint tea was fabulous, as well as the falafels.Overall, yet a little overpriced given its proximity to the points of interest, it was a nice room with a great front desk.
Salvatore Trupiano: Partiamo dal presupposto che,come molti dicono, è difficile da trovare,neanche il nostro amico egiziano lo trovava....appena arrivati,beh,il palazzo lascia un po' il tempo che trova, è abbastanza fatiscente,ma appena giunti al secondo piano,dove si trova l'area check in dell'hotel,ci accoglie Marcello,super gentile e cordiale,ci fa un upgrade della stanza ,gratuitamente, e ci porta nella Geb (nome della stanza)!La stanza è MOLTO spaziosa e abbastanza pulita, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo,balcone che da sul museo Egizio di piazza Tahrir,in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono i punti di interesse della città.Qualcosa potrebbe essere rivisto, però io ritornerei in questo Hotel e...Marcello è veramente una persona FANTASTICA!Grazie mille

Chris J: J'avais hésité avant de réserver cet hôtel, car dans les commentaires les gens disaient qu'elle est dure a trouvé et elle était seulement au 2e étage d'un building, donc ne semblait pas très sécuritaire. Bref j'ai regardé sur Google Map avant de venir et je n'ai eu aucune difficulté à la trouver. Une fois a l'intérieur on monte effectivement au 2e étage et la le personnel vous offre un accueille extraordinaire. Sérieusement ils font vraiment tout pour que vous vous sentez bien. Petit thé à l'accueil, ils s'occupent de vos bagages, vous commande de la nourriture de n'importe quel resto, même du McDonald's 😉, ils font vos réservations pour n'importe quelle excursions etc... Pour ce qui est de la chambre, elle est grande avec des plafonds très haut. Super propre et lit très confortable. Vraiment un hôtel au top! Petite recommandation, apportez vous des bouchons pour dormir au Caire, car tous les hôtels sont bruyants et les klaxons n'arrête jamais! Bon séjour à tous ✌️

Omeama Whitmer: Knowing that we’d be gone from sun up to sun down for tours, we were truly just looking for a place that was in downtown to keep our bags and sleep. This is just that and way more! It’s safe, friendly staff and clean rooms. It is a decent amount of stairs to climb to get to your room but not a huge deal. The rooms have a fridge, a/c and heating, a vanity and a tv. It was clean and they supplied us with towels, soap and shampoo. There is not a safe or iron.The bathroom is small but fine. Our shower evidently was missing the shower head hook which we weren’t aware of till after we checked out. We just assumed that is what you get with budget stays. The water pressure was great, however the drain may have been clogged as the water did stand while showering. You can request toilet paper.They do have complimentary breakfast starting at 8/8:30, we just were never around for it because we had early tours. They will bring water to your room upon request. Easy to reach the staff using WhatsApp.It is right in downtown Cairo so super walkable and right across from the museum which is awesome. You will hear car horns all night into the morning though because the city never sleeps!Overall we enjoyed staying here! It was just what we needed. It’s a budget stay so don’t expect to have resort style amenities but if you want a safe, clean, super affordable and walkable sport to stay in, this is it!

Еще из хорошего ребята на стойке нам дали меню довольно приличной еды с доставкой, которая обошлась нам в сущие копейки! Спасибо. Это огромные плюсы для Каира.Минусы. Неудобно найти сам отель,т.е. нет никаких вывесок и указателей. Принзжаешь ночью на такси и бегаешь вокруг здания в полной растерянности. Даже внутри подъезда нет указателя. Нужно подняться с чемоданами, тк лифт не работает. Подъезд до безобразия грязный ( в углах подъезда выносят мусор и его едят кошки), а ведь это историческое здание, как нам объяснили (именно поэтому нельзя повесить вывеску, но мусор выкидывать на лестницу в историческом здании, видимо, нет проблем). Номера очень, ну очень шумные, спать без беруш невозможно и не получится! Терасса грязная, позавтракать на ней вы не сможете, тк это антисанитария. Душ протекает, как и раковина. Полотенца серые. Мебель грязная. Завтрак за отдельную плату, но при этом кофе растворимый из пакетика. Экскурсии, которые предлагает отель невероятно дорогие.

Be prepared for road noise from outside as cars are constantly honking. It didn't affect us but if you are light sleepers come prepared. (Pretty much every street in Cairo was honking)

I stayed in the Amun Ra suite and i have to say, definitely worth the money. Ps: its at tahrir plaza, so it can be noisy ( like everywhere in Egypt) It was no issue for me, I could even sleep without earplugs. But for lightsleepers... definitely bring earplugs and you should be fine.

Jane Asher: I booked a room with river view, but the room we were given only had a view of the fire escape.We had to ask for towels, there were none present in our room - forget the pictures on the internet! The shower was luke warm until we complained.No cups were provided with the kettle, when we asked we were given paper cups.None of the staff were particularly friendly or welcoming. Hinke Leipoldt: Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De standaard kamer kun je het beste links laten liggen, die is het geld niet waard. Met een plank met dun matrasje als bed, is de kamer voorzien van alles maar wel met enorm gedateerde spullen. Gelukkig konden we upgraden naar een superior kamer. De superior kamer is goed. Maar in Nederland verwacht je voor dat geld een betere kamer. Ik heb geen andere hotelkamers in Zamalek gezien, dus geen vergelijkingsmateriaal. Verder is het schoon, elke dag schone handdoeken en lakens.Qua toeristische informatie is het mager. Ze kunnen een chauffeur regelen voor de hele dag voor x dollar. Voor de piramides op één dag is dat perfect, voor de rest kan je beter een Uber regelen.
