Susan Blick: This is a great takeaway restaurant, but sadly it is closed for the foreseeable future :( I spoke to the owner yesterday and he says it will be closed until January 2024 at least. So disappointed.
Charlotte: We ate here several times during our stay in Cairo for a quick and cheap meal. The falafel wraps are decent enough, the soup comes as a big portion and the salads are good too. I only wish there were more places like this across Egypt as it’s perfect as a vegetarian or vegan!

Kelly R: My husband and I came to lunch here on our last day in Cairo back in November 2022, following a recommendation from our tour guide on a previous day. We were greeted by Yousef who was welcoming and very helpful with recommendations on what we should order. Needless to say, our trust was not misplaced. The food was exceptional and Yousef's service was amazing- fantastic mind puzzles we had such fun doing too 😀We cannot wait to visit again when we come back to Cairo.

P J: Awesome Turkish food. The starters were fantastic, mains brilliant and dessert was heavenly. The fresh mango juice was so good with bits, I could have had another glass. Overall, the place was divide, worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood. We ordered Hünkârbeğendi for the main and hunkar begendi dessert. The bread is divine, service is excellent and so is the ambience.

Kim Stephanian: This is a really special place! We were staying at the Kempinski 3 nights. On the 2nd night we tried this restaurant and loved it so much we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else the following night. The plates were gorgeous, the restaurant was gorgeous. They brought jasmine water to the table to wash our hands before the meal. The wine was lovely. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff was so friendly, warm and helpful with the unfamiliar things on the menu. Just. So. Amazing. Get the Doner Tas Kebab. 🤤 It’s been 3 weeks and we’re still talking about that meal.

W: I was looking forward to eating here but was very disappointed. Firstly, a few items in the menu were not available (they did not have the dish of the day - chicken walnut, and the only juice available was hibiscus) and most of all, the meat and chicken were absolutely not fresh. We had the beef tagen with onions, the beef was tough as rubber, while the chicken in the muloukihya was very suspicious - tasted like the chicken had been boiled separately beforehand then frozen, and just dumped into the muloukhiya and reheated before serving. We had good food during our trip and this was probably the only disappointment, so sadly cannot give a good rating. The only saviour was the service which was good (but then again we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch as it was Ramadan)

Place isn't very big for large groups you need to let them know ahead.Everyone in their staff 's very decent and professional.Its recommended to try their lentil soup and beef goulash "The Egyptian recipe.." indeed.

Hafsa Zaghmout: Very small place but nice, the food is really home made and had a very authentic taste. I had kofta with potatoes in the oven, with rice, grilled vegetables and Egyptian pickle. The taste was amazing. The only drawback was when I requested the rest of my meal be wrapped for rake away, I was surprised when I got home to find the put the picks over the rice and vegetables!!!
