Salma Lotfy: I visit this shop to buy Malaika linens products which are great as well as the Ramla shoes. The products themselves in general are beautiful. However the staff is very unpleasant. They are disdainful, unprofessional and unhelpful. I see that several other reviews seem to share the same views. Luckily I can get the same products from other boutiques which is what I will do from now on.

Stefan Bishay: Very impressive selection of high quality handicrafts. Mostly textiles, some pottery, and brass and silver jewelry. The people running the shop are extremely kind and helpful, and the prices fair. If you want some gifts or items for your home that are better than the usual tourist shop items this is the place to go!
Steve Martocci: Wow, Nomad was a pivotal stop to our trip. Not only is the collection of goods fantastic and well priced. The owner Mr. Alef is one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met. He recommended us trusted locations to visit (His cousin’s famous silver shop is a must). Make sure to stop by it’s a special place.

D. C.: Lovely atmosphere on the second floor of an old Egyptian apartment filled with ethical and fair treasures. All items on sale are handmade and by Egyptian artisans & crafters. We bought many things from here but the most special was the rug we purchased for our apartment. It was a little too large and the owner told us not to worry and come back in an hour. He miraculously weaved it to the right size himself. Definitely a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend enough.

I felt like I could not put down cutleries for a breather and they think we were finished. Asked for a spicy seafood fettuccine, but was not fulfilled. Onion soup was good n as well as other food ordered. Pricy. I wish they would consider having smokers outside the building.

Z Abdoun: Just got my watch back.Very professional and friendly people. They serviced and repaired my GMT-Master II after some water penetrated the dial. In addition to that, they replaced my Bezel which lost the redness after many years of sun and sea exposure.Price wise, they are still way cheaper than if I’d have done it back where I live in Europe. Only the service/ revision of a GMTII is €850 while they charge a €500. Additionally, the polishing of the watch was sublimely done and hardly any of the minor old scratches is visible.Thank you once again.

I would not recommend anyone and will make sure to poorly rate this place to anyone who asks me about it. Don’t waste your time in there unless you have a connection.

Barbara Evans: Update: original below. Out of the blue, I saw a discount from Kiliim for the amount that I had mentioned having to spend on the cushion inserts. I am very impressed by this and have changed my star rating from 2 to 5. I am excited to tell my friends about them but will certainly mention that they are paying for cushions only!_____________Be aware if you are ordering outside of Egypt! Nowhere on their website did it say that they were just shipping just the covers (it very clearly stated "cushions"), but that's all I got. I emailed them and let them know that I had expected what they had stated on their site and they shipped me the cheapest worst Ikea cushion filler, in all the wrong sizes. I asked for the them to fix the problem yet again, and they asked me to do the work to return the Ikea filler to Ikea at which time they would discount my order for the amount of the ill-fitting Ikea filler (barely anything). I turned around and had to spend almost the same I spent on the cushions for cushion inserts of quality, and am out a lot of money!
