P J: Awesome Turkish food. The starters were fantastic, mains brilliant and dessert was heavenly. The fresh mango juice was so good with bits, I could have had another glass. Overall, the place was divide, worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood. We ordered Hünkârbeğendi for the main and hunkar begendi dessert. The bread is divine, service is excellent and so is the ambience.

Kim Stephanian: This is a really special place! We were staying at the Kempinski 3 nights. On the 2nd night we tried this restaurant and loved it so much we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else the following night. The plates were gorgeous, the restaurant was gorgeous. They brought jasmine water to the table to wash our hands before the meal. The wine was lovely. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff was so friendly, warm and helpful with the unfamiliar things on the menu. Just. So. Amazing. Get the Doner Tas Kebab. 🤤 It’s been 3 weeks and we’re still talking about that meal.

W: I was looking forward to eating here but was very disappointed. Firstly, a few items in the menu were not available (they did not have the dish of the day - chicken walnut, and the only juice available was hibiscus) and most of all, the meat and chicken were absolutely not fresh. We had the beef tagen with onions, the beef was tough as rubber, while the chicken in the muloukihya was very suspicious - tasted like the chicken had been boiled separately beforehand then frozen, and just dumped into the muloukhiya and reheated before serving. We had good food during our trip and this was probably the only disappointment, so sadly cannot give a good rating. The only saviour was the service which was good (but then again we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch as it was Ramadan)

Seema Sheth: This is one of the worst sushi places I've tried. The service was poor, no hostess to seat us, no one took our order until we asked, they just totally ignored us. No server other than the sushi chef. The sushi rice was poorly cooked and had no flavor. The salmon was not fresh. The miso soup came without tofu, and when I inquired we were told they were out of tofu. But they never told us when we ordered it. I returned the soup and told him he should have mentioned it to us, then the couple next to us ordered the soup and he didn't tell them either. To top it off, after making our meal the chef left the restaurant to go elsewhere, came back and didn't change his gloves or wash his hands and made the next person's order. Yuck! This was really not a good representation of the hotel. Very disappointed.

Service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Especially liked the hot and sour soup with shrimp rather than tofu. Great value especially the noodle dishes which are enough to share.

Bassma: The best chinese food in cairo. I haven’t been here since 3 years , yet it continued to maintain its excellent standard.Their Dimsums are amazing.Their crème Brûlée is the best i have ever tasted.Staff are great..they have a set menu in weekend.Its enough for 2 people.

Steaming hot.incredible mango / coconut water mocktail. Asked to leave out the chilli.Ordered 1/2 Peiking Duck - served 2 ways. Now, I lived in China for 25 years and have had a lot of duck…. This one was just ok.First course of Pancakes were nice, duck was well cut and presented nicely. Tender meat, but a bit fatty.The Sang Choi Bao was the bigger problem - very oily - I’m not sure if it was the duck or cooking oil, but the bottom of the dish was swimming in oil. Lettuce was also still very wet. Had to turn it over to get rid of the excess water.I very nicely asked the manager to show the dish to the chef. They comped me a lovely fruit platter and sorbet.I’m happy to pay for an expensive meal, but I expect the quality to meet the price.I’m afraid I would not order the duck again….
