Ana Marques: I bought a box of baklava at the Cairo Airport Duty Free shop to only later find out that the box was nearly empty, containing only 4 tiny baklava, while most space was filed with packaging material. If you think each baklava was this small because this product had already expired, think again, I bought them in November 2022 and the expiration date is April 2023. I offered one of these boxes to my parents-in-law before knowing the content... and I was utterly embarrassed! To sum up my purchase experience at the Cairo Airport Duty Free shop: it was not only a small quantity, the quality of the product was also lousy (dry, not so tasty, and might make you run to the bathroom), and extremely overpriced for what it really is.
Mus'ab Al-Zou'bii: Very limited and poor selection products, not so clean area, and some of the staff are so needy with tips and have lack of manners, one of them put the change in his pocket!!!

Wine and liqeur collections are very limited. Prices used to be competitive with North America, but recently, they are not any more.Average collection of cigars and cigarellos, but the staff can not provide information or advice regarding the flavours.In one occasion, one of the workers provided me with dishonest information about their competitor's store which is located few steps away down the isle, in an attempt to make me buy at the spot.If you are shopping for cigars or cigarellos, take a tour along the other stores before buying.Also there is a tight limit for the amount of cigarellos to buy when you arrive in Egypt.
