Stefan Bishay: Very impressive selection of high quality handicrafts. Mostly textiles, some pottery, and brass and silver jewelry. The people running the shop are extremely kind and helpful, and the prices fair. If you want some gifts or items for your home that are better than the usual tourist shop items this is the place to go!
Steve Martocci: Wow, Nomad was a pivotal stop to our trip. Not only is the collection of goods fantastic and well priced. The owner Mr. Alef is one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met. He recommended us trusted locations to visit (His cousin’s famous silver shop is a must). Make sure to stop by it’s a special place.

It was a pleasure not to be pressured to buy anything or to have to haggle for 15-20 minutes. We highly recommend if you want to buy authentic products.

D. C.: Lovely atmosphere on the second floor of an old Egyptian apartment filled with ethical and fair treasures. All items on sale are handmade and by Egyptian artisans & crafters. We bought many things from here but the most special was the rug we purchased for our apartment. It was a little too large and the owner told us not to worry and come back in an hour. He miraculously weaved it to the right size himself. Definitely a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend enough.

Z Abdoun: Just got my watch back.Very professional and friendly people. They serviced and repaired my GMT-Master II after some water penetrated the dial. In addition to that, they replaced my Bezel which lost the redness after many years of sun and sea exposure.Price wise, they are still way cheaper than if I’d have done it back where I live in Europe. Only the service/ revision of a GMTII is €850 while they charge a €500. Additionally, the polishing of the watch was sublimely done and hardly any of the minor old scratches is visible.Thank you once again.
Yoseph Maguire: Walked in inquiring on servicing my NOMOS Glashütte Orion 38. Hoping not to have to ship it to Germany for servicing. Having just visited a few other watch shops, each time told politely and kindly told they could not service it.Here, I was shooed off. “Rolex only. Notox? No. Rolex only.” Condescending tone. Bad vibes. Also don’t seem well versed in Haute Horology? Disappointing all around.Must be I’m not looking rich enough to deserve decency. Their money can’t buy class. Just classism, it seems.

Said Elsayed: Warning. They set their own prices and only sell good pieces to celebrities and people with connections. They tell you to come in and are unwilling to help over the phone. Yet when you come in they say they don’t have anything so it’s a big waste of time. They only take cash and don’t provide receipt with purchase. Very cold and rude sales people. I would not recommend anyone and will make sure to poorly rate this place to anyone who asks me about it. Don’t waste your time in there unless you have a connection.
