Mohamed Shouman: I am from Alexandria, so I have a good taste of seafood. This place is fine as it serves grilled and fried fish. It it tatse good but not super. The prices are fine. But there is no enough place to eat, and I mean here to have a place inside the restaurant, not outside.

Al Gazayerli: they used to be good and i used to enjoy ordering from them because they were attentive to special requests. However, today, i am quite disappointed. I am allergic to colored peppers and made sure to ask for no peppers in the orders. they sent the order twice. The first time with peppers and garniture when i specifically asked them not to. The replacement also came with peppers.I doubt that i will be ordering from them again.

Karen W: We had the mixed platter served in a tasty, slightly spicy tomato sauce. One portion would have been enough for us to share, but we added a second plate of pasta. The locals were lining up for tables. We only wish the seafood were fresher - the shrimp and crab did not have the sweet, meaty texture that they should have when cooked live or very fresh. One crab was black inside and when we showed it to the waiter, he immediately replaced it with a fresher one. The calamari and clams were great. Maybe next time we'll try the mussels which are easier to keep fresh.

Osama Samii: The shrimp is not clean and when i asked the staff they told me it is normal as it is the sandy line of the shrimp, the taste is under normal , bathroom is bad , they provided with food water, salad and mokhlal for extra fees and that is not obvious in the menu. Overall it is very overrated restaurant and not recommended to go there.

Came here as part of a tour and couldn't go anywhere else as there wasn't the time.Flies everywhere, majority of surfaces obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while, no power to the dining side of the restaurant. There was power in the toilets, but there was also a man stood outside the ladies toilets disturbing toilet roll rations. As for the food, flies had landed on most of the dishes. I managed to catch the food I ate just as it came out of the kitchen. I can't imagine anyone finding the food tasty.If you have the choice to avoid this place, I recommend you do.

Stopped here in between tour stops. Our guide had the foresight to deliver us before all the tour groups arrive but just as the buffet was opened. It took some time to get some attention, but we ate well and kept hydrated. The salad buffet was a amazing and refreshing in Egypt's sea of meat and bread. Staff were friendly and the place is clean. Well worth it.

To be concise, it was in lbn Hamido Seafood Restaurant in Cairo, Egypt. Every dish we ordered was packed with fresh seafood, with rich and incredibly tasty flavor. The seafood soup was the best I have ever had. The waiters were welcoming, patient, and warm. We had a language barrier, but they tried their best to explain with smiles.Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ronny B: This Restaurant seemed like a nice Place since it really is very close to the Pyramids. But thats about it. Not very clean dining area. Food seemed like reheated buffet. There was Hair literally fried into my Meat. Im lost for words. On top of that the waiter actually charged us almost twice the bill in euro since we didnt have egyptian pounds with us at the time. Dont recommend. There has to be at least a few nicer spots around this area. Skip this one
Timothy Mercer: Stopped by after a pyramid tour (must be a coincidence). The staff was amazing, professional, and attentive to our needs. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and they made me a beautiful cake which was delicious. The food was nothing short of delicious, which is a great feat as there were 10 of us and a few very picky eaters. I loved the cleanliness, the restrooms are immaculate and the overall vibe was lovely. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Caviar for making my birthday celebration unforgettable. We even sang for the staff! I'll certainly be back.

Chris: Das Highlight des Restaurants ist die Aussicht auf die Pyramiden. Dafür gibt es zwei sterneu. Der Rest ist einfach nur grauenvoll.Dieses Restaurant wird bei den "Kaffefahrten" aka. die zwei Tage Kairo nach der Nilkreuzfahrt aufgesucht. Das essen war nicht so gut, es war voll und die Getränke sind sehr teuer (ca. 3€ für eine 300ml Dose Fanta.). Das ist einfach überteuert für ägyptischen Verhältnisse.
Jan PT: Nahe den Pyramiden gelegen. Sogar mit Blick darauf.Tagsüber werden angeblich teurere Reisebustouren bewirtschaftet. Dazu kann ich nichts sagen.Abends ist das ein ruhiges Restaurant, man hat Zeit für Kunden.Zu den Gerichten gibt es quasi als Vorspeise Brot und ein halbes Dutzend Schälchen mit leckeren gebratenen Auberginen. Oder Tahini, Salaten, Humus. Dazu gebratenes Brot, extrem kross und obwohl etwas schwer, wunderbar mit Humus oder Baba Ganouch zu Knuspern, Zitrone nicht vergessen.Und eine Fischsuppe. Ganz gut.Pasta mit Fisch: Sehr gut, grosse Portion. Mixed Grill: auch sättigen, gut gegrillt, nur der Kollege, selber Koch, meinte das Huhn wäre aufgewärmt.Ich hatte 1/2kg Shrimps und 1/2kg Kalamari. Gut gegrillte Shrimps, die Kalamari waren lecker paniert und knusprig-saftig gebraten. Klare Empfehlung.Ach, inkludiert war auch ein Nachtischtellerchen mit Obst und 4 Baklawa.Getränke um die 2€, kein Bier oder Wein. Die frischen Obstsäfte sind super.Hier wird schlicht aber effektiv gekocht zu moderaten Preisen, zu fünft zahlten wir 38€.
