Jana Kölblinger: I'm a horse riding instructor and we found the stable of Nicola who only has rescued horses which she builds up with a lot of love and knowledge to become strong and very reliable partners. I had a short trip to the pyramids which was fantastic but the most overwhelming experience I had on the day trip with my partner to Abusir through the desert. The horses were so good to ride very save and fresh until the last minute in a good condition with good and fitting tack.

R Z: I had a wonderful experience at the Cairo Horse Riding School! Tamer and his crew are so knowledgeable, dedicated, easy-going folks and fun to be around. Everyone speaks English fluently so no concerns about language barriers. They offer classes and desert trips for all age groups and levels.The lessons are great, from the very first moment you can tell how passionate Tamer is about horseback riding and wants to transfer some of his +20 years of experience to you.You will instantly fall in love with the horses. John being my absolute favorite!Most memorable was our trip through the desert. I'd love to do that again.

Hash R: Amazing experience, fantastic owner taking horses that have been abused and rehabilitating them so they can live a new life. The horses were well behaved, well looked after and easy to ride for a beginner. Galloping on my second time riding a horse was a bit scary but definitely one of the most thrilling things I’ve done, with the backdrop of the pyramids this was absolutely fantastic. Would give it 6 stars if I could!
Clara Dwerri: Rode horses for fun in the dessert and took pictures with view of the pyramids. Horses are clean. Instructors are helpful and take good care of the horses. It was a great experience. Saw also 10-year old children learning horse-riding and they looked very well-trained.

Jenny D: Lovely ride in the desert, probably best if you are more experienced rider, cantering thought the desert. You can book directly on airbnb. The horses are well cared for, probably the best kept in cairo. some of them are rescued from abuse.

Addison Cahill: I went riding with Cairo Horse Riding School in the late afternoon on a Friday. I spent 10 days in Egypt and this was by far the best experience of my time here, and one of the best travel memories I have. We cantered through the desert and stopped for refreshments midway through and it was incredible. I felt so comfortable on the horse (thanks Butterfly!) and had a blast. Julia, the photographer for Egypt Horse Photography, took amazing photos of the ride and sent them to me shortly after. I am so grateful for the experience! Highly recommend to anyone, beginner or advanced, who wants an unforgettable experience in Egypt.

Mariam Othman: The horses are really well trained and cared for, and it's a very pleasant place to go horseback riding. Additionally, you are allowed to bring your own food and beverages. The location has a grill where you may prepare your own meals. Additionally, there are cottages that you may reserve or rent out temporarily. Owners and employees are kind and helpful. There is a minor entrance fee, but if you leased a horse tour, you are exempt from paying it.
Sophie Bradley: What a beautiful ranch with beautiful looked after horses! We had a wonderful time riding in the desert and enjoying the view! We felt wild and completely comfortable ! 5/5 recommended! Thank you again for sure we will come back!

Marwan Mohamed: It's a very nice place where you can go on a horse back riding trip, the horses are very well trained and taken care of. You can also bring your own food and drinks and you will find a grill and cook your own food, the place serves Fetir as well. There are cabins as well where you can rent or book for a while. The owners and staff and very helpful and friendly. There is a small fee for entrance but if you rented a horse trip you don't have to pay the entrance ticket.

Татьяна Булах: It was my second time on horse and I was quite nervous. After hours of hesitation, I booked a ride with Julia around the pyramids. She made it very easy for me and in just 10 minutes I got my confidence thanks to her continuous support, great instructions and a very good temper of my horse. I had a lovely ride and view of the pyramids was breathtaking. The horses looked peaceful and happy and they were great to ride. We had a relaxing stroll at a pace I was comfortable with, yet I was secretly dreaming about having courage and skills to gallop across that beautiful desert and feel the wind in my hair!

Bob Baddeley: Arrived about 45 minutes before sunrise with no reservation. They were very nice and arranged for a tour. We did not go into the pyramids park but rather went around the desert outside the park for a while, getting some great views of the sunrise with the pyramids behind. The guide was helpful as we had little experience with horses, though there were some open stretches where we could trot a bit more. It was really nice to be in the early morning because it was cool with a gentle breeze and not crowded. We paid 300/hr/person.

Miriam Girguis: It was horrible. You can clearly see that the environment for the horses is bad. They have to pull unreasonable amounts of weight for long periods of time. They look exhausted. Most were injured in some way (Large cuts, limping, missing skin, small chunks of certain parts of their bodies missing, etc) The horse that I was riding to the pyramid ended up collapsing about 15 minutes through our travel. A horse pulling a cart came to replace it and I could clearly see that it was harnessed improperly and had an approximate 5 inch deep cut under the tail due to irritation. (Was pulling at least 300 pounds) Kept stopping and it honestly broke my heart. The workers were very nice but kept whipping the horses much more than they needed to. On the ride back I saw a dead horse laying there. The path was very trashy with the animals (horses and camels) eating it. I am assuming they are not well fed either. Some horses looked skinny and were showing ribs. This made me so sad and I wish they were treated better.
