Ze willen graag verkopen, probeer te onderhandelen om wat van de prijs af te krijgen. Een plek die ik niet had willen missen tijdens de vakantie, hoort er gewoon bij.
Rebecca Guimarães: It's like you're in a movie - finding your way through tight streets, surrounded by pretty objects and dealing with sellers of all kinds. You'll find a lot of the same, but a few shops have unique items. There's a seller who said I should smile; whereas another smiled at me and welcomed me to his shop - this is where I chose to purchase something. You can always negotiate, but remember if you're a tourist that perhaps you're at a better financial position in life than these people, so always be nice and respectful towards somebody else's work. Also bring something to feed the street cats :)

Salim Al Flaiti: Way too crowded and the prices are not controlled at all. A LOT of beggers and con artists, lots of unauthorized sellers. Be careful and don't leave your items unattended. The prices will always be at least 2 to 3 times higher to tourists. Remember to stay safe .. there is always nove security around. If you get a chance, see the mosque in the centre.

Ioan Covalcic: Amazing bazar! It was an amazing experience to go around the many alleys packed with shops. We felt safe and relaxed as tourists, even if we stayed for hours, until 23.00. We used common sense and we were awere about our suroundings, and it was enough for us. The shop owners were promoting their shops but politely and not harrasing us, comparing with other bazars in Egypt.We got here and back to our hotel by Uber.

David Power Hernández: Can’t understand the reviews: they are all either from friends or fake. The place has European prices but with the usual mediocre Egyptian quality. Also, they charge you an extra 12% on top of the 14%. So we ended un paying 185 egp (10€) for two coffees and “grilled” cheese sandwich (which was a non-grilled baguette with some melted blue cheese inside). That’s ridiculously expensive. Avoid until they step up.

Hana Abdel-latif: Little cute cozy place. The staff is extra nice. The prices are little bit higher than normal but trust me the quality of the food is top-notch. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and it was heaven. The french coffee there was maybe the best french coffee i've ever had hands down. The experience was pretty good and i may come back next week. ❤️

P J: Awesome Turkish food. The starters were fantastic, mains brilliant and dessert was heavenly. The fresh mango juice was so good with bits, I could have had another glass. Overall, the place was divide, worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood. We ordered Hünkârbeğendi for the main and hunkar begendi dessert. The bread is divine, service is excellent and so is the ambience.

Kim Stephanian: This is a really special place! We were staying at the Kempinski 3 nights. On the 2nd night we tried this restaurant and loved it so much we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else the following night. The plates were gorgeous, the restaurant was gorgeous. They brought jasmine water to the table to wash our hands before the meal. The wine was lovely. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff was so friendly, warm and helpful with the unfamiliar things on the menu. Just. So. Amazing. Get the Doner Tas Kebab. 🤤 It’s been 3 weeks and we’re still talking about that meal.

K13: So we went there a couple of days ago to eat lunch and the waiter picked a fight with me. I asked for a couple of recommendations he instantly pointed to the lamb and as soon as I informed him we were there only for their vegetarian dishes he got upset as the were not expensive saying I don't know what I want. That should have been a red flag for me, but it was hot 🔥 outside, and we were hungry. So, unfortunately for us, we stayed for the absolute worst meal in Egypt. Even my hotel and every street food we had were miles ahead of Felfela!!!!The best thing about this restaurant in my extensive experience was the decor and the clean toilets.Vegetarian options: As an experienced foodie and amateur chef, I find it very unfortunate for a restaurant to serve yesterday's fried falafel.

Abe El-Raheb: My parents had their first date here in the 1980s so I better give it 5 stars! The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Highly recommend the mixed grill, kofta, mixed veggies and the baba ghanoush. We also had the ice cream Sunday for dessert which was extra creamy and delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Ed Wrede: SACHI Heliopolis was the spot I took to take my wife on her birthday, during our Cairo trip.Unfortunately, SACHI didn't live up to my expectations.The menu was available online and I suggest everyone review it beforehand.I ordered the filet mignon while my wife had the mushroom risotto. I ordered my filet medium and it arrived rare-blue. The texture was great, but not what I ordered and I didn't want to send my dish back while my wife ate alone.Her risotto was HEAVILY over-seasoned and almost difficult to eat it was so salty.We ordered 2 mocktails as drinks which sounded amazing but the lemonade mocktail was almost undrinkable it was so sour and the other was unremarkable.My "from the heart" fondant dessert was just SLIGHTLY over-cooked which meant the inside was congealed instead of flowing out when the outside was broken as one hopes for from a fondant.We ate at a number of amazing places during our stay in Cairo and while I don't feel SACHI was bad, it was meant to be a highlight and just didn't turn out to be unfortunately.
