LALA: I used eat pokes here weekly. But lately the rice has been off and the meat is not fresh. Also the sauce came rotten. I was taken back by a strong disgusting smell as soon as I opened it.

Elie Meouchy: Today, i ordered from "let's poke" for the first time. I searched on TALABAT App for vegan food and i discovered this nice place. I ordered the VEGAN QUINOA salad and then i knew that the delivery would take 72 minutes however i decided to wait for that long time knowing that i was starving. After almost 72 minutes i received the order with a spilled sauce in the bag! I immediately and kindly asked the delivery guy to resend another sauce asap as i am starving and i have been waiting the food for a long time. He said don't worry you'll have the sauce at maximum 15min. More than half an hour i received nothing and i still didn't eat anything! I gave "let's poke" a call complaining about this issue while they said to me that they will send me the sauce in maximum 20min but it came after 45min! So i stayed waiting to eat for almost 3 hours without any compensation!! What a great customer service 👏BUT I DO NOT DENY THAT THE SALAD WAS TASTY AND FRESH! OR BECAUSE I WAS SO HUNGRY 🤷🏻♂️Today, I asked "Let's Poke" for the first time. I searched the TALABAT app for vegan food and discovered this lovely place. W: I was looking forward to eating here but was very disappointed. Firstly, a few items in the menu were not available (they did not have the dish of the day - chicken walnut, and the only juice available was hibiscus) and most of all, the meat and chicken were absolutely not fresh. We had the beef tagen with onions, the beef was tough as rubber, while the chicken in the muloukihya was very suspicious - tasted like the chicken had been boiled separately beforehand then frozen, and just dumped into the muloukhiya and reheated before serving. We had good food during our trip and this was probably the only disappointment, so sadly cannot give a good rating. The only saviour was the service which was good (but then again we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch as it was Ramadan)

Hafsa Zaghmout: Very small place but nice, the food is really home made and had a very authentic taste. I had kofta with potatoes in the oven, with rice, grilled vegetables and Egyptian pickle. The taste was amazing. The only drawback was when I requested the rest of my meal be wrapped for rake away, I was surprised when I got home to find the put the picks over the rice and vegetables!!!

P J: Awesome Turkish food. The starters were fantastic, mains brilliant and dessert was heavenly. The fresh mango juice was so good with bits, I could have had another glass. Overall, the place was divide, worth a try if you are in the neighbourhood. We ordered Hünkârbeğendi for the main and hunkar begendi dessert. The bread is divine, service is excellent and so is the ambience.

Kim Stephanian: This is a really special place! We were staying at the Kempinski 3 nights. On the 2nd night we tried this restaurant and loved it so much we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else the following night. The plates were gorgeous, the restaurant was gorgeous. They brought jasmine water to the table to wash our hands before the meal. The wine was lovely. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff was so friendly, warm and helpful with the unfamiliar things on the menu. Just. So. Amazing. Get the Doner Tas Kebab. 🤤 It’s been 3 weeks and we’re still talking about that meal.

The waiter brought a cup half empty, and I asked him to fill it more. The waiter came back with a margarita cup full, but tasted horribly. I drank it because I did not want to waste the money, and did not want to return it two times, but I came home with nausea, and have been vomiting since early morning, with severe diarrea even after 20 hours after eating there. I do not want to think what dirty water did they add to my drink.Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options.

We were greeted by Yousef who was welcoming and very helpful with recommendations on what we should order. Needless to say, our trust was not misplaced. The food was exceptional and Yousef's service was amazing- fantastic mind puzzles we had such fun doing too 😀We cannot wait to visit again when we come back to Cairo.
