mohamed taha: I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Ahmed Barada. My mother underwent eye surgery, but the doctor was six hours late to the appointment. Furthermore, he missed four scheduled consultations, leaving us without any updates or information for an entire month. Dr. Barada's staff appeared frightened of him, which didn't inspire confidence in his abilities. When my mother was finally able to see him, he informed her that the surgery had failed and that she needed to undergo a scan. However, when she asked why the surgery had failed, he told her to take it up with God and hurriedly ushered her out of the office as he had a dinner engagement. Given these circumstances, I would strongly advise others to avoid Dr. Barada's practice at all costs.

Guess Who: I had a LASIK operation performed for both my eyes at the center last month, I called to book a preoperative exam and I was in two days after for the exam and had the operation done in the same day for a great price, and I wasn't overcharged. Dr. Omar is a decent and polite gentleman. He's honest and outlines the pros and cons of the operation ahead of the operation and answers all questions before and after the operation. I was very nervous during the operation, however Dr. Omar handled it professionally and generally the staff are professional. At the center they do several check-ups for free after the operation to ensure that there are no issues, which shows that they care. I thank Barada Eye Center for the great service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get a LASIK eye surgery.

Mai Shafei: I'm very disappointed with the service here. The clinic is clean and was very busy but unfortunately it is just a business centre. Dr. Barada saw us after 3-4 hours wait time, he advised us to use Ozurdex instead of Lucentis. My mother has macular edema and has had 3 injections within 8 months at another clinic. He advised us to use Ozurdex as it is more long lasting but more expensive at 25K (for reference Ozurdex is 13.5K at any other clinic). Luckily we asked for a second opinion at another clinic, he asked about her family history and advised us that Ozurdex can raise eye pressure increasing the risk of glaucoma and cataracts. He strongly advised us to avoid Ozurdex.Dr Barada, did not read the previous eye scan properly, did not ask family history of glaucoma and advised a treatment that was dangerous to a patient all just to make money. It's shocking to see a doctor only looking to make money at the expense of the safety of his patients.
