Khan el-Khalili: what do users think?
ahmed Alnemr: nice place
Mohamed Gomaa: Interesting market, nice to walk around.Crowded to the maximum, not hygienic at all.
Siddharth Das: Busy, over priced tourist trap. Though it has interesting memorabilia and no visit to Cairo is complete without visiting this market
Beautiful and all jokes
Hichem Boualem: Bonne 100% touristique
Abbas Babiker: Everything you wish for from historical and folkloric things, antiques, gifts, gold, cotton artifacts, pharaonic costumes and silver artifacts
Kunal Surana: Traditional Bazar
Abinash Sharma: Oldest market of Egypt..
Mehmet Cedit: Good place to see the culture, but you need to be careful as a lot of risky people there and too crowded
Jessica Egarin: A must-see place in the heart of old Cairo! The cab dropped us on the other side of the street. Crossing the road is not an option unless one wants to die! There is an underground passage to safely cross the street and get to the Souk. Please choose that option if it happens to you. Once in the bazaar, we were overwhelmed with scents of spices, incense, fresh mint tea… There are so many treasures to find there! Just go and play it by ear, let the narrow streets lead you wherever they may take you :)Have some cash with you as shops don’t always accept credit cards and when they do, they add an extra 10% to the bill.
Hamzeh Alzubi: Nice place to visit, you can buy souvenirs, but be careful regarding prices, negotiate beginning with half the requested price
Amr Ali: Smell of 1000 years of history
Sa Saa: A second life
Mahmoud Abu Taha: One of the most amazing historical places in the Arab world
Our master Hussein
mohamed zaghlol: good
Rebecca Guimarães: It's like you're in a movie - finding your way through tight streets, surrounded by pretty objects and dealing with sellers of all kinds. You'll find a lot of the same, but a few shops have unique items. There are also plenty of shops on the upper floor! Just find the hidden stairway...There's a seller who said I "should smile"; whereas another smiled at me and welcomed me to his shop - this is where I chose to purchase something. You can always negotiate, but remember if you're a tourist that perhaps you're at a better financial position in life than these people, so always be nice and respectful towards other people's work. Also please bring something to feed the street cats :)
Aisha Bellal: You CANNOT visit Cairo without passing by Khan el-Khalili! Just avoid the traffic peak time.

Eric Mankin: While it may not be worth a special trip, if you have the time and you’re stuck in the cairo Airport, this place will well repay. Its small entrance fee.
Basta A: The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, and houses the largest collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. The museum displays a large collection that extends from the pre-dynastic period to the Greek and Roman eras. The architect for the building was chosen through an international competition in 1895, which was the first of its kind, and was won by French architect Marcel Dorgnon. Khedive Abbas Helmy II inaugurated the museum in 1902, and it has become a historical landmark in downtown Cairo, home to some of the finest pieces of ancient Egyptian antiquities.Among the museum's unparalleled collections are the funerary collection of Yuya and Tuya, Psusennes I and the treasures of Tanis, and the Narmer Palette commemorating the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under a single king are among the priceless artifacts in the museum. The museum also includes wonderful statues of the great kings, Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the builders of the pyramids on the Giza plateau. In addition to a large collection of papyri, coffins and ornaments that complete the distinguished collection of this museum.

Greg slater: One of my favourite museums although is looking a little tired and dated - a reflection of the gradual relocation of most of the collection being moved to the GRAND museum - viewable whenever that opens.I find the best parts of the Cairo museum are where the majority of the visitors pass by. The displays of ordinary, everyday items tell a lot about the lives of the ordinary people. To get the best from this museum, get a good guide and take your time. There is more to Egyptian history than Tutankhamun's tomb contents ( do see them) but take time in some of the quieter parts.
Ahmed Eleawa: El moseo egipcio NO SE NECESITA DEFINICIÓN ES TAN BELLO ❤
Jon J.: 8/10 of the items are not identified, and the place is a mess and hard to navigate. It was worth it to see King Tut's Golden Mask and sarcophagi, you can easily take photos, just gotta be clever and patient. No photos is the only rule I don't respect anywhere, because it makes zero sense. If the GEM ever opens, I hope it is better organized and with each item identified.

Juan Manuel Pacheco Cabo: Un gran lugar
Ashraf Ramadan: 👌
Mena Hany: Very beautifulHow terrible is this place, this is nothing but the house of God
Ahmad AL.Deeb: The church is dedicated to Sergius and Bacchus, who were martyred during the fourth century in Syria by the Roman Emperor Maximian. The most interesting feature is the crypt where Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus are said to have rested. The cellar is 10 meters deep, and when Nile levels rise, it is often flooded. The church was built in the fourth century and was probably completed during the fifth century. It was burned during the Fustat fire during the reign of Marwan II around 750. It was then restored during the eighth century, and has been continuously rebuilt and restored since the Middle Ages; However, it is still considered a model for the early Coptic churches. Again, the most precious and oldest icons are on the south wall. A spacious central hall divided into three naves by two rows of columns. Pope Christodoulos
Cristina: Absolutely awesome. All Coptic Cairo is, actually. We were amazed for hours
Omnia Yasser: The church was built over the ruins of an ancient Roman castle, and it is located near the Babylon Fortress area in the Old Cairo district. It is considered one of the most important destinations for religious and cultural tourism, as it is keen to be visited by Egyptians and foreigners. The importance of this church lies in several things, first, in the presence of the escape cave below it, which was the place of Christ and the Virgin Mary during their flight to Egypt, escaping from the King of the Jews, "Herod" according to historical sources, and secondly, the presence of the well of water from which Christ drank, which is currently topped by a glass door. So visitors can look at it.It was also called the Church of Saints Sergius and Wachos, after the saints who were killed in Iraq for converting to Christianity during the period of the Roman Emperor Maximanos.
Yossef Chart: beautiful
nagy kaldas: One of the most beautiful ancient churches
Ahmed Boghdady: Very beautiful place, I love this place
Outing: ⛪ Abu Sarja Church ⛪Religions complexCairo Governorate⛪ It is also called the Church of the Two Martyrs Sergius and Wachs, and it is an ancient church built over the place where the Holy Family resided during the escape journey, and it has an escape cave at the Temple. 💒⛪ During the trip, the Holy Family stayed in a cave located near the Babylon Fort area before completing the trip to Upper Egypt to reside in this place.⛪ After that, it was known as "Abu Sarga Church" and became one of the most famous places associated with the Holy Family's journey, and turned into one of the most important religious and cultural tourism destinations that Egyptians and foreign tourists alike are keen to visit. In the complex of religions tour 💒
yanson mina: The most plce I loved
