NOURHAN: Its a cozy old korean restaurant, the atmosphere was unique and service was pretty good. We ordered stir fry noodles, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and vegetables noodles. We got to eat the beef and noodles, which were delicious, but we returned the sweet and sour chicken bec it tasted like ketchup. We didnt try the rice bec it was served 30 mins later than other plates. Overall its okay.

BAWBEE 2020: By far the worst Asian cuisine experience I’ve ever had. The courses lack any authenticity along with brutal portions and price point. But the worst thing was the rotten and expired shrimp that was delivered absolutely gut wrenching. Do not visit here if you’re looking for a clean and tasty meal.

Dan Griffiths: We finally came to try Tomato after years of hearing good things. Unfortunately, we must have gone on a bad day because the two dishes we ordered were completely bland and tasteless. Even the kimchi just tasted of sweet vinegar, no spice. Spicy fried chicken was just fried chicken, bibimbab just tasteless rice and some vegetables, could hardly find any beef and again tasteless. We were really disappointed and felt cheated for such a high price for what was essentially rice and vegetables with no taste. Maybe because we went during Ramadan and assume the kitchen staff are Egyptians and maybe this is why the food was lacking and tasteless. Regardless, we felt cheated and very disappointed so we wouldn’t return again.

SY: 분위기 밝음. 깔끔. 외국에 있는 한식당이라고 느낄 수 없는 한국의 맛. 두부구이(튀김), 오징어볶음 주문. 두부는 거의 한 모가 나오는 사이즈고 오징어 볶음은 다리는 없고 몸통으로 나옴. 밥공기와 아욱(?)국 한그릇이 같이 나옴. 먹는 순간 '어 이건 외국에서 먹는 맛이 아닌 한국 내에서 먹는 맛'이 느껴짐. 앞치마를 두른 중년 한국인 부인께서 주방 쪽에서 나오심. 주인이신가 봄. 아들인지 모르겠는 남자는 홀에서 유튜브 보다가 잠듬. 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다.

신유리: 첫번째 갔을때 비싸지만 양도 많고 맛도 한국과 비슷하여 이번에 다시갔는데....정말 주인분께 같은 한국인으로써 좀 실망했습니다. 가격도 200파운드씩이나 더 올렸으면서 양은 3분의1이 줄었으며 그거에 대해 말씀드려서 더 주신다고 하셔놓고 메뉴를 같은걸 두개 시켰으면 2명이 따로 시켰다는 건데 그럼 당연히 두명을 주실 생각을 하셔야 하는게 아닐까요. 서비스로 주시는 것 처럼 말씀하시는데 양이 그렇게 줄었던거 맞지 않습니까. 그래서 타당한 권리로 말한건데 한명만 더 주시고 이아이도 달라고 말씀드렸더니 되려 화를 막 내시면서 그럼 또 만들어야 한다는 등.. 그럼 그 친구는 더 안주셨으면 가격을 정상 가격을 받아야하는게 맞지 않나요. 가격은 그대로 받으면서 되려 손님들 앞에서 화를 내시니 정말 어이가 없었습니다. 결국 기다렸는데 안주셨고요.늘 갈때마다 많은 외국 친구들과 같는데 오늘은 정말 쪽팔렸습니다.정말 다시는 안갑니다. 원래 맛있으면 되었지 마인드였는데, 진짜 맛보다 서비스가 뭔지 덕분에 제대로 알았네요. 맛도 그냥 김밥천국과 비슷한데 3,4만원 돈 내고 드신다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 속은 속대로 상하고 분위기 다 망쳐서 다른 분들 알고 가시라고 한번도 안쓰던 리뷰 남깁니다.
In B: 리뷰들을 보니 사장님이 좋다는 얘기가 많은데 사장님이 바뀐건가요?제가 갔을때는 평생 처음보는 불친절함에 놀라움을 금할수가 없었는데요, 메뉴 하나 더 시키려고 했더니 바빠서 안된다고 화를 내지않나눈치보면서 혹시 포장은 안되냐고 딱 한번 더 물었을뿐인데"아 바쁘다니까!!!" 하면서 반말까지 섞어가며 역정내시는걸 보니 사장님이 바뀌셨나봅니다김치볶음밥에 버젓이 고기조각이 보이고 고기맛이 느껴지는데 누린내가 너무 심해서혹시 여기 돼지고기가 들어갔냐고 물었는데(무슬림들과 함께 간거라 확인할 필요가 있었음) 김치볶음밥엔 고기가 안들어간다는 말을 하시고고기가 눈에 보이는데...저로서는 도저히 이해할수가없는 식당이네요

Summer Rattanaseema: I called the restaurant she told me the restaurant closed at 9:30 pm then we went there around 8 pm which is still have an hour. the STAFFS told me they are already closed come back again before 8! I came all the way far from another side of Cairo for 2 hours just for your restaurant! the staffs don’t even let me order just a small meal and told me come back again tomorrow! of course not!!! The ACs are like 20 years old; not functioning well and squeaking all the time. The place is not acceptable as a restaurant at all. Prices are too much for what they present.
