P J: I tried this hotel due to the convenient location. It is close to most tourist spots, close to restaurants and the Museums. The hotel itself has a few good restaurants if you wish to dine in after a long day. The Turkish and the Italian restaurants are the two that I tried. Can highly recommend both of them. The rooms itself are good. We went for the suite with Nile view. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Sohabe Hashmi: Location is pretty decent and near the bustle of Cairo. Service was decent. Great hotel and lobby area, they don't build them like this anymore. Upscale feeling. A lot of shops and restaurants. There was entertainment. Food was decent. Service was pretty good.The casino was small but decent. The casino only accept USD and you can only get USD from your credit card at the casino, there are no bank machines dispensing USD at the hotel. You will not get any drinks at the Casino quickly as they mess around with you. Casino staff is different than hotel staff and are not as nice. You will need a foreign passport to enter, there no exceptions unless you look like a white foreign tourist perhaps they will stop checking you for a passport after you show them once.The room was old and run down but it was clean. The hot water stopped working on my last day and nobody had an explanation or what was really doing anything about it. It stopped and started with little pressure. This made me late for my excursion, if it was not a private booking I would have missed it. When I checked out all I got was a empty apology. For the price and stature they should have taken care of me.

In the interior you can admire the marble stairs,statues, carved furniture, romantic lighting and long corridors . Rooms are cozy,spacy, clean and nice decorated with big beds. It is a great experience.

Min Cheng: The location is great. The higher floors had views to the Nile River. But check-in took more than an hour at 7pm. Their reason was that the rooms had not been cleaned yet. My room, #529, was in need of repairs. Many outlets did not work properly. There was no hair dryer in the room. Only half of the water would go up through shower head. The toilet leaked all night. Breakfast food was not fresh. The barley porridge had spoiled milk smell. The cut fruit tasted like it was the leftover from the previous day.I would not recommend this hotel.

Reclamos al hotel al día siguiente mostrándole las fotografías, por las condiciones en las que nos tienen y no les importa el cliente. Lo único que nos ofrecen es pagar más dinero (75€ por noche y habitación) para tener una habitación en condiciones. Después de haber pagado ya una gran cantidad de dinero a Soltour.Nos encontramos en la planta séptima en una habitación de los años sesenta, ruido insoportable a todas horas del tráfico, olor a tabaco en la habitación, ducha que no funciona, suciedad, moho, camas rotas, mucho frío, sin mantas … no son condiciones de tener alojados a los clientes en un Hotel Hilton.No recomiendo a nadie que se aloje en este hotel ni que reserve ningún viaje con la empresa Soltour.Es muy posible que se ponga enfermo durante su viaje por Egipto como nuestro caso, un crucero por el Nilo con estancia en El Cairo Hotel Ramses Hilton organizado por la empresa Soltour.No malgasten su dinero en este hotel, cuesta mucho esfuerzo ganarlo para luego terminar viendo situaciones desagradables durante sus vacaciones.Esto no son vacaciones!Actualizo cometario por la respuesta del hotel, no nos cambio el hotel por voluntad propia las habitaciones. Reclamamos a nuestra agencia de viajes, ellos desde España reclamaron a Soltour. Un delegado de Soltour en El Cairo se presentó en el hotel y cambiaron a algunas personas de habitaciones, otras las dejaron en las de los años 60, a la gente más mayor (nada considerados).El cambio de habitación supuso estar pegado a la obra de la reforma del hotel. Nada de tranquilo.Rooms: No reúne las condiciones de habitabilidad.Noteworthy details: Huyan de estar alojados aquí, a este hotel no le importa el cliente y en que condiciones los tiene. Lo más desagradable que nos hemos encontrado como país y como empresas. Sólo quieren sacarte el dinero. Esto es una trampa para turistas.

Lack basic amenities like drinks in the room, Jaír dryer, no robes, no international programming (these are the amenities that make a hotel 5 star) Save yourself and do not stay here. The elevators literally SHAKE very heavily while going up, the carpet is stained and damaged everywhere, the people in the front desk are rude and condescending. We checked in at 4 am and asked for TWO nights thinking we would get charged for an early check in and the two nights we requested. They charged the early check in as a full night and did not tell us about it even when we asked the front desk to confirm that it was two nights, they just charged it. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my whole life and I’ve traveled half of the world.

Serena Haney: Most definitely not worth the price per night and no where near the standard of Hiltons in other countries. If you want the short version, don’t book here, they are simply using the Hilton name and Zamalek’s (the neighbourhood) notoriety to increase the price of rooms.For my detailed review, read on.There are positives to the hotel; the pool is large and clean, there is a wonderful and top rated café (Haven) attached to the hotel just next to the entrance, the beds were clean and comfortable, rooms were very spacious and quiet, and the ac (at least in our suite) worked wonderfully.Now for the issues. If booking, don’t be impressed by the title ‘ambassador suite’ because every floor past 13 contains ambassador or presidential suites. The rooms appear to have been furnished in the 80s and never updated. I’ve travelled widely and understand that customer service standards vary from country to country, but the staff at the Hilton are lacking compared to the other establishments I visited in Cairo. There is a lack of communication at every turn, from employee to guest, employee to employee, and manager to employee. Essentially it makes the simplest tasks difficult and timely. It took the staff at reception over five hours and three separate requests to get our party of six more than the two bath towels that were in our rooms when we arrived. Many staff seem trained to help you with a task once you’ve nearly finished doing it yourself. And make sure to watch your plate and drinks when servers come by because they may try to clear your dishes when you aren’t finished without asking if you’re done. And best to ask to sign the bill when you’ve ordered from the ‘Nile Breeze Restaurant’ when you’re done, because even after they cleared our plates, dropped a final drink off, and we sat there for another hour they didn’t think we might be finished and want the bill. Overall the staff are inattentive. The food is decent and well priced off the menu, but be warned the breakfast buffet is a wide selection of poorly imitated American/European food. I understand many westerners expect or even prefer western food when travelling, especially from a western hotel chain, but I myself travel to different countries to experience that country. It would be a vast improvement if they allowed the chefs to cook Egyptian dishes they are familiar with and can execute well. Then maybe add a small selection of simple western options for those who prefer to play it safe.Overall, not worth the price. The positives start and end with the building itself. Save your money and patience and pick somewhere else to stay.

Isolamento acustico pessimo (la notte del venerdì c'è stata musica fino alle 4 del mattino). La piscina è carina ma piccola e con poche sdraio. La posizione è l'unica cosa veramente buona di questo hotel. Se dovessi tornare, non ripeterei l'esperienza.

Its a hostal so you cant expect 4* 5* facilities but the place was great and a value for money. Fares and Abdalla from the hotel staff gave us a super service and they even helped us ordering food as most of the restaurants are speaking arabic. Haitham the hotel manager helped us a lot in arranging the tours and hotel stay.Most of the hostels doesnt have heatersRooms: Comparatively good and value for money. Rooms and most of the cairo places are a bit deteriorated but can manage the stay.

Litzy Guzman: Amazing hostel! If you are looking for a hostel that is chill with AMAZING staff I recommend this place. I felt safe as a female solo traveler and reception did an amazing job at handling a problem with my booking. They helped me book a night at their sister hostel and then fixed me a room the following day with them for the same original price. I originally booked with hostelworld but I recommend booking by phone with them. Ahmed and Fares were amazing. ❤️Something to consider is that the road nearby is busy and can be a bit loud but it wasn’t disturbing. Had a wonderful first time in Cairo!!
