Zhen Liu: Their one-day cairo tour from Sharm El-Shiekh is a very bad idea. Anyone currently at COP27 should not sign up.1. Over-promising itineraryWebsite says pyramids, museum and shopping. Our guide promised a Nile cruise. We end up going only for museum and pyramid, no time for Nile cruise or shopping. This means that 50% of the promised itinerary not met.2. Wrong information from guideAt museum and pyramid area, guide told me to buy tickets to use camera, both times I was told cameras are allowed and no tickets needed. What was not allowed was tripod for museum and zoom lense for pyramid - both of which guide did not inform. Hence guide not reliable for information.3. Poor planningOur day started at 5am from hotel lobby. We waited at Cairo airport for 1 hour on the tour bus before we could set off at 10.15am. reason given was that security only allow all tour buses to move off together. If that is the regulation then flash tour should have arranged for a later flight rather than making participants wake up early only to wait on the bus for one whole hour. Suspect that this is a trick to sell water which costs USD 1 dollar each.4. Tourists coerced into filming a promotional video for flash tour. After lunch (which was 4.20-5pm) the guide stopped us in front of the restaurant and told all tourists to appear in a promotion video where everyone has to say they had fun and that Egypt was safe. There was no seeking of consent for using our faces in the promotional video and we felt pressured into complying.5. OverchargingCamel rides at the pyramids were well known for being a tourist trap. Before the tour, I found out that the exact same flash tour 1 day ago charged 500 per pax for the camel ride. The flash tour rep at Sharm El-Shiekh said 200-300 per pax. The guide charged us 625 per pax. Yes the guide herself, not even the camel owners. Again we felt that we did not have the choice of opting to choose our own camel rides.

Excursion Sharm el Saik - Cairo is too rushed and when visiting the pyramids you do not have enough time to enjoy the beauty of the pyramids.2. Excursion Paradise (which includes quad bike through safari, coral watching, diving, etc.) trip I bought a photo and video from their photographer which costs 30 USD and when I got home to check what photos and videos they put on the flash I saw that they are not all our pictures. I received very few pictures. There were pictures of us missing. The photographer has no experience taking pictures and takes very bad pictures.3. Quad bike are very dirty with the miners behind the wheel and you get your hands very dirty and then you have nowhere to wash them because there is no water in the safari.P.S.
