Smallgorrion: Fuimos a cenar nada más llegar a el cairo a este restaurante. El sitio es de lujo, la iluminación muy tenue para mi gusto pero se está bien.El servicio deja un poco que desear, lento y tenías que pedir varias veces hasta que te hacían caso (tal vez estaban desbordados)Eso sí la comida es espectacular, está bastante buena y la cantidad es muchísimo. Nosotros teníamos contratada la cena y no se bien que nos dieron, pero creo que era una especie de menú degustación. Espectacular, cenamos muy muy bien.

Martin Hills: The Filipina staff in this restaurant really made this a delightful evening meal.The main restaurant was full but as we were a party of 8, they put us in a private room at the end of the restaurant.Having lived in Hong Kong for over 30 years, my expectations of Chinese food overseas is quite low. I was impressed with the dishes we had here though and the additional small things the chef and staff did.The restaurant is very tastefully decorated.Well worth a visit.

Scott Latimer: Visited 8 twice on our 10 day visit to Egypt. Great respite from the traditional Egyptian fare. Everything was excellent and the staff was so gracious and kind. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Especially liked the hot and sour soup with shrimp rather than tofu. Great value especially the noodle dishes which are enough to share.

Lettuce was also still very wet. Had to turn it over to get rid of the excess water.I very nicely asked the manager to show the dish to the chef. They comped me a lovely fruit platter and sorbet.I’m happy to pay for an expensive meal, but I expect the quality to meet the price.I’m afraid I would not order the duck again….

Mohammad Mourad: Went there with high expectations, was certainly disappointed. Food was average at best. We ordered the Duck Risotto, was so dry and lacking taste, lasagna was not on the menu but they said it is one of their best dishes, was really below average in taste and you can get much better in much cheaper places, very thin and not cooked well. The breaded veal was good but again very average. All in all not worth the hype or the price tag. The one attraction there for some people is alcohol which was over priced. Also we felt uncomfortable with so many people smoking around us while we ate (indoors) but seems like that is the norm there (and in most places in egypt), to be honest I expected much better.The staff members were ok but again can be more attentive to listen and care about what their costumers want. Ed Wrede: SACHI Heliopolis was the spot I took to take my wife on her birthday, during our Cairo trip.Unfortunately, SACHI didn't live up to my expectations.The menu was available online and I suggest everyone review it beforehand.I ordered the filet mignon while my wife had the mushroom risotto. I ordered my filet medium and it arrived rare-blue. The texture was great, but not what I ordered and I didn't want to send my dish back while my wife ate alone.Her risotto was HEAVILY over-seasoned and almost difficult to eat it was so salty.We ordered 2 mocktails as drinks which sounded amazing but the lemonade mocktail was almost undrinkable it was so sour and the other was unremarkable.My "from the heart" fondant dessert was just SLIGHTLY over-cooked which meant the inside was congealed instead of flowing out when the outside was broken as one hopes for from a fondant.We ate at a number of amazing places during our stay in Cairo and while I don't feel SACHI was bad, it was meant to be a highlight and just didn't turn out to be unfortunately.

Ibram Hossam: Terrible experience with the manager who lacks every sense of problem solving. There's been a misunderstanding about the headcount at reservation but his focus hardly shifted away from placing the blame on us and towards actually seating the surplus of guests. Once we got to discussing possible solutions, two alternatives presented themselves effortlessly. Needless to say it's obvious enough never to belittle the frustration of an angry customer even after an agreement had been reached, which he later did, it's undoubtedly unprofessional.
