Max: As some of the other recent reviews have stated, the prices are outrageous here. Staff is nice enough and they give you salty snacks with your drinks but it's not worth the total cost.
Alexander Burak Franklin: DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I came in and asked for the drinks menu, the bartender said he didn't have one (huge lie because they later brought out the menu when we disputed the massively overpriced bill, to be explained later). We asked for 2 martinis and asked the price, he said 145 pounds each and we said that back to him and he confirmed and said 145 again.We finished our drinks and the bill comes out to 1,445 pounds. $58 for 2 mediocre cocktails... They charged us even more for 2 "shots" of vodka and 2 of martini, which these drinks did not have 2 shots each. We dispute this and after 20 minutes of waiting and them giving us the run around, finally we speak to the 3rd manager (the other 2 were useless and kept getting their managers). They finally magically produce the menu that didn't exist before and the drinks were 600 pounds each (still absurb compared to every other nice place we had been to. We could have gotten 2 bottles of imported wine for this price).In the end we were sick of being played around with and just wanted to leave and ended up paying the 1,200 pounds (still $48).I advise everyone reading this, DO NOT GO. If I could I would give negative stars. You will be lied to, over charged and they will treat you like an idiot without respect.
Suzanne Abaza: Don’t go here. Came in and asked for a cocktail menu and was told they didn’t have one. Asked for two martinis and asked the price and the bartender said 145LE which we thought was actually really cheap. Bill comes in at 1445LE ($58 USD!) for two cocktails. I complained and the bartender brought the manager who magically had menus to show. The price was of course lower on the menu. Front of desk Sherif was very nice and trying to make it right… bar manager Khalid was terribly rude. Ended up paying less but still far overpaying. Based on other reviews, this is common practice here. I am Egyptian-American and I suggest going to any of the nicer Zamalek spots for a (far cheaper) cocktail with less headache.

Pax Arbustum: A Walk-in Bar in downtown cairo, they serve local drinkies and other soft drinkies too. Popular among young people. Normally quiet during the week and very busy in weekends. Specially on Thursdays and Fridays . Its recommended to walk in before 21:00 in those days to guarantee a table for yourself specially if you're a group of friends hanging out.. Sometimes we pay extra to the waiters (the leaders) to allow us a table in the weekend.. otherwise they'll ignore you..Overall the place worth visiting if you're interested in the real cairo character..
Robert McBrain: Very kind and helpful staff. A notch up from a typical Cairo bar dark room. Whilst the customers appear to be chain-smoking and on the run from wife/police (women would not be seen dead here)...at least the bar area is large with a ceiling high so as to let the cancerous cloud waft around. They will even turn on the extractor fan if you ask!

Denise Millar: A great bar. We were scheduled to do tonight for new years eve, but are unable to attend now. ( if you see this the three tourists that booked it on Thursday...the one that had the sakara king!)
Sarah Boctor: The place is very stuffy even when it's empty. The waiters keep hovering, not just the main one serving our table, but others who keep asking if we want something from outside. When we were paying, the one that was hovering came and stood next to the one handling the payment and wouldn't leave until we tipped him. The whole approach and attitude made us very uncomfortable. Also, the 2000s Arabic pop music kills the bar mood. However, the beer was very fresh and the multiple mezzah that came with it were very nice.

Ahmed Hammam: This is a fun place to be. It gets rather too crowded on Thursdays but the vibe is very positive and interesting. The beans "فول نابت" are the best i have tried. If you're looking for a calm place and you want to talk about something important this is not your place.

Christopher Schulz: This bar/restaurant is the highlight of Hilton Ramses. With views to die for you can see the pyramids of Giza in the distance as you see the sun set. The drinks and food mehr suited the atmosphere and I would highly recommend trying the lamb chops, shrimp and the sea bass. The added bonus is to this experience was the magnificent staff and the service quality that they displayed. Very impressed with their mise en place, especially with their wine presentation, a big thanks to the staff especially Farouk.

Коктейли и блюда были приличными. Цены для Египта высокие, но для европейцев гораздо дешевле, чем дома (можно сказать приятные цены, адекватные - для чистого и красивого места). Идеальное обслуживание!!!

Mahmoud Fathy: The most beautiful place you can see Cairo and the Nile from. It has two views of the Nile, Downtown, the Nile and Zamalek. The food is excellent and the cocktails are unique. There is a person named Hussein who makes awesome cocktails and he is international. The rest of the waiters are distinguished and cooperative. You did not feel like a stranger to them.I ate steak, fried shrimp, two Mojito, two Piña colada, and appetizers. The method of presentation is very simple, and I paid $150.Sweet music, English Arabic mix. The best days are from Thursday and Friday from 10 to 1 am. The experience is like a pleasant meal. The view, the food, the drinks, the music and the lighting are perfect.
M: Great drinks, great food, but be prepared to pay top dollar for a cigarette smoke filled lounge without ventilation. We all know Egypt has a terrible smoking habit but it baffles me why tourists come and think it's totally fine to also puff away indoors especially with no ventilation.It's unfortunate that smoke is the reason I'm lowering my rating because the food and drinks were truly delicious. Highly recommend the infusion drinks - enough of those may even make you start forgetting you're getting lung cancer.

Цены на еду, на мой взгляд, такие же, как в хороших кафе в центре Каира. Условно говоря, за 350 египетских фунтов одному здесь можно хорошо поужинать. Коктейли дорогие, как и любой алкоголь в мусульманской стране - цены начинаются от 170 фунтов и уходят в небо вместе с баром. Тут невероятная панорама на ночной Каир, обязательно порадуйте себя таким зрелищем хотя бы за бокалом вина. Из конкретики - бар находится на верхнем этаже Хилтона, лучше использовать элементарный дресс-код (говорят, мужчин в шортах/майках не пускают). Обслуживание на высоте, еда и коктейли 10/10, бар чистый и радует глаз

Petros Tatoulis: The worst nightlife choice we made during our stay in Cairo. Extremely overpriced drinks, inexperienced and incompetent bartenders, no atmosphere or vibe and bad service. I would never recommend it.
Fani Bakourou: Not worthy at all!! The place was empty when we got there and now I see the reason why. Unreasonable charges, overpriced drinks and service, impolite staff - apart from the outrageous bill and the bunch of extras charged on top, we paid 165€ for ten shots!! We spent there one of our last nights in Cairo and we ended up being very disappointed. Definitely not recommended!
Ζωή Σπυροπούλου: Worst experience ever! We were 8 people, we ordered cocktails-drinks and shots! Paid them ridiculously much more than the prices we saw on the catalogues. Doesn’t worth a peny, it’s a fraud !!! Don’t go there !!!
Filippos Falieros: The ideal place if your goal is to spoil a night in Cairo. The bar was empty the drinks overpriced and the manager was obnoxious and rude. The bars in the other hotels we tried (Hilton, Crimson) are just in an other league considering the view, prices, and atmosphere.

Talal El Maghraby: straight out of a movie and away from all the chaos; a place for the open minds to settle..
Mohamed Helmy: Extremely chill and friendly staff, though the place is a bit untolerable in the summer due to the lack of AC.
Ahmed Saad: The atmosphere was so cozy and there was a cute cat called ATER. There was a man playing the lute and singing old popular Egyptian songs from the seventies😌❤️❤️. In general, the place was very nice and all the staff were very friendly. Certainly, this is the best place in Downtown, and the prices were not exaggerated and within everyone's reach. You feel like you are having a good time with the family. I thank all staff in this place for the good reception, and I hope to repeat the experience again as soon as possible😍❤️❤️
