Hassanein: With the intensification of the Egyptian national movement at the beginning of this century, a group of leaders of national action and pioneers of the enlightenment movement and social thought in Egypt, such as Muhammad Abduh, Mustafa Kamel, Muhammad Farid, Qasim Amin, and Saad Zaghloul, embarked on achieving a dream that has long flirted with the imagination of the people of this country, which is to establish A university that advances the country in all aspects of life, and be a beacon of free thought, a basis for scientific renaissance, a bridge connecting the country to the sources of modern science, and a crucible in which the necessary cadres in all disciplines are prepared to participate in the world’s scientific progress, but this wish found strong opposition on the part of the British occupation authorities, especially from its Lord Dean Cromer, who realized that the establishment of a university in Egypt means the creation of an educated class of Egyptians who realize that independence is not just the liberation of the land, but rather the liberation of the Egyptian personality and its launch into the city and civilization’s corridors. A committee of patriots who made sacrifices and endured hardships took charge of the matter until the idea came to light and became a tangible reality. The Egyptian University was opened as a private university on the twenty atheist of December 1908 in Hef A majestic event was held in the Shura Council of Laws Hall, attended by Khedive Abbas II and some statesmen and notables.On the evening of the opening day, studies began in the university in the form of lectures, and since a permanent location was not allocated for it at that time, the lectures were delivered in separate halls, which were announced in daily newspapers such as the Law Consultative Council hall, the Higher Schools Club, and Dar Al-Jarida until the university took a place for it. In Khawaja's Saray, Nestor Janaklis, which is currently occupied by the American University.

Nour: My mom had an appointment there with Dr. Karim Mashhour.She got a call to confirm, she went there and waited too long for the doctor to be eventually cancelled from the receptionist because he didn’t show up, extremely unprofessional und disrespectful !! First and last time, some people need to learn more about work ethics
Angie Rochemont: Had to wait for a month for an appointment they don’t give informations about timing and said they will call the day before to arrange the timings as they don’t know in advance! Which is a problem if you work especially since they say they will give you time slots at the very last minute. They don’t give you news so you have to call them yourself. You call them and they still don’t know, they call back an hour after. They have no options to give you in terms of timings and of course since it’s a day before you cannot organise yourself!Clearly how is this a way to handle appointments? It has been now a waste of a month of wait for clearly nothing! They offered another day for two weeks after, but of course same procedure! You have to wait the day before to maybe HOPE the timings could suit you!SHAME!
Adnan Rababa: Last Feb. I went to this clinic to see the Doctor and let him examine my eyes as I was expecting that the headache I suffer in the last period due to the need to change may medical Eye Glasses, I took an appointment and the doctor gave me a new prescription after examined my eyes, I went to Optics and ask for a new glasses and as am using a multifocal lenses the cost was high which was $ 500 and need about 10 days for manufacturing.I happily received it after the ten days and tried hardly to use it and acclimatize with it for two days without any success, as I suffered from severe headache and Blurred vision, so I went back to the optician to check the lenses, after the test he assured me that the problem in the doctor’s prescription, I went back to the doctor and after he examined my eys and the glasses he didn’t admit that the problem is from his side, but he also refused to give me a report that the problem is from the eye glasses which made me doubt about this, so I went to a famous Eye hospital and asked the doctor to examine my eyes without telling him anything more, so he did and gave me a new prescription for lenses, I went back to the optician and he showed me the difference between the new and old one, this mistake costed me another $300 to change the multifocal lenses and keep the frame.I went to the clinic to file a complaint, the nurse there told me that she will tell the manager when he comes, and after several hours I got phone call from the clinic where a doctor asked me about the details again, after I told him I asked him that I need to complain officially and want to know their corrective action, he told me that this is of the owner responsibility who fortunately an Ophthalmologist and he will ask him to call me on next Saturday to inform me about the action.As you may expect about two months were passed and the said Saturday didn’t arrive.I have the two prescription and the two lenses which approved the reality of this case and might sue them when I have time but also I preferred to share this with and telling you that I am lucky because this medical mistake was external in my status and just made me loose some money but what if the case with a surgery or internal diseases.
