P J: I tried this hotel due to the convenient location. It is close to most tourist spots, close to restaurants and the Museums. The hotel itself has a few good restaurants if you wish to dine in after a long day. The Turkish and the Italian restaurants are the two that I tried. Can highly recommend both of them. The rooms itself are good. We went for the suite with Nile view. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Pipachu: El hotel está céntrico, a unos 20 minutos caminando del museo de Él Cairo. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y el mobiliario podría renovarse, pero están muy limpias. El personal muy eficiente. Las vistas son espectaculares, al Nilo.El buffet es enorme pero quizás el hotel al ser tan grande está demasiado masificado por lo que cuesta a veces encontrar sitio para desayunar. Habitaciones totalmente insonorizadas. Lo recomiendo.

Ahmad: Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,leider muss ich Ihnen mitteilen, dass mein Aufenthalt im Grand Nile Tower nicht meinen Erwartungen entsprochen hat und ich sehr enttäuscht bin.Bereits bei meiner Ankunft wurde ich von einem unfreundlichen Angestellten begrüßt, der mein Gepäck nur widerwillig zum Zimmer brachte. Das Zimmer selbst war in einem altmodischen und abgenutzten Zustand und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht korrekt, was bei den hohen Temperaturen in Kairo sehr unangenehm war.Darüber hinaus gab es im Hotel keine wirkliche Ruhe und ich war permanent gestresst durch den Lärm und die Hektik. Auch waren die Zimmer sehr laut, so dass ich jedes Geräusch meiner Nachbarn hören konnte.Leider war das Personal im Café ebenfalls unfreundlich und unkonzentriert und das Geschirr schien nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigt zu sein.Obwohl die Lage des Hotels direkt am Nil von Vorteil war, gab es in der Umgebung nicht viel zu entdecken und die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel war unzureichend.Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt im Grand Nile Tower sehr enttäuschend und ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich empfehle Ihnen, sich nach anderen Hotels in Kairo umzusehen, um Ihre Erwartungen zu erfüllen.Damit Sie erfolgreich sein können, benötigen bloß drei Dinge und zwar:Freundlichkeit, hoffentlich zu sein und Sauberkeit.

Location of hotel is perfect. Close to most things walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.Room was good. The twin beds were a bit small especially for taller people but comfortable. I had a patio which was nice. Only thing is there was bird poop on the seats so I didn’t sit outside but I wasn’t in the room much anyway to enjoy that feature. Sheets, towels and room was clean. It had all the essential supplies.

Real Egypt provided excellent communication in the planning and booking of our tour on Whatsapp, and gave great flexibility to add two stops we really wanted to see once we arrived (but didn’t know about yet at the time of booking). Real Egypt said yes of course. We learned a lot from our highest quality guide who spoke perfect English, and would definitely recommend to others this experience.

K.E. -: They are not kidding when they say the Real Egypt! Of course, we had the obligatory visits to the pyramids and other well know sites, however, in addition to learning about ancient Egypt, we got to experience modern Egypt as well, the real Egypt today. We visit villages, and local markets and. had our best meal in Egypt at a home in the Nubian village near Aswan. The highlight of the trip was the Dahabiya! A trip to Egypt can be intense in order to visit all the well know sites but a 5-night cruise on this traditional boat had a nice mix of relaxation and visiting smaller sites along the Nile that you would not see with the larger boats.The trip went very smoothly. All the guides, Ahmed, Mahmoud, Hani & Fatima were professional, knowledgeable, and just lovely people.We definitely wished we had let RE choose and book our hotels as we were not happy with OUR choice of hotels. The ones we booked ourselves.

Elaine Hackman: Great Egypt Tour company and much more than we hoped forNov 2022We recently completed a 3 week holiday in Egypt with RealEgypt Tours providing all services for the middle two weeks. Ahmed Reffat worked very closely with us while planning our experience and was very flexible so that we could manage our own resort hotel plans while RealEgypt Tours took 100% responsibility for transpotation and tour guides for Luxor, Aswan, a 5 day Luxor to Aswan Dahabiya Nile Sailing cruise, Cairo, and Alexandria. Ahmed was very helpful to match RealEgypt Tours proposal with our personal requirements. We want to especially point out the excellent quality of the tour guides, especially Mahmoud Hassan who was with us for eight days of the tour. His knowledge of Egyptian history and hieroglyphics was outstanding. Mahmoud helped us to significantly grow in our knowledge of Egyptian history. Thank you Mahmoud and Ahmed. Other tour guides that RealEgypt provided were also very kind and very knowledgeable. As we observed other guides, we always felt like we had the best. We Recommend RealEgypt Tours to our friends. The price was very reasonable and the services were excellent. Ahmed frequently checked-in with us to make sure all was well and gave extra help as needed. If you are debating which type of Nile cruise to take, we highly recommend the Dahabiya Nile Sailing cruises that partner with Real Egypt Tours. The food was great, crews friendly and efficient, they are able to take you places the larger ships can't reach, and can time the stops to avoid most of the big crowds. We were on the NubaNile and it was perfect with plenty of time to relax!

Luku Makou: Be sceptic and very careful when booking with this company, regarding the cost of your trip. They may try to overcharge you.This review doesn’t state that they are bad guides. They may be great in what they do. Also they were very polite with us, always using nice language.BUT. Each agent you’ll communicate with may offer you different costs from the other agents.While communicating for an offer, their agent (Hala) told me that a specific trip costs 100USD. After a few days I asked a specific offer for this trip and then she told me it costs 146USD!!! My friend contacted the agency and asked an offer for herself and a different agent gave her the same tour for 96USD!!! 52% higher! It is totally unprofessional.After contacting the boss, Samir, he told me some really terrible excuses like that the agent that I contacted with is more experienced. Of course he couldn’t explain why Hala asked us 200USD more (we where 4 people) for the same tour than their other agent. It’s funny because Hala (the more experienced agent) was never able to give me specific prices for the trips and only gave me assumptions. When I asked for specific prices the real prices always got higher.I started with an offer of 1200USD for 9 days tours and cruise. We did 2 video calls trying to reduce cost. We excluded 15 hours of tours, 1 days meals in the Dahabiya and 7-8 hours of the tour guide staying with us in a car and they made me us discount of 22USD  1178USD. It was a joke. It was like they wanted to save many hours for their guides and still get the same amount of money.They tend to give you full-price offers and not separate prices for the different parts of your tour so that you cannot control-understand their pricing.In the end Samir noticed that the 2 offers we’ve been given have a difference of 60USD per person. He did not apologise for that, just gave excuses. He didn’t even offer a small discount to show that he acknowledges the mistake of his company.Of course he lost our trust.Shame.

Beverly Whiteside: My husband and I spent a day with Mohammad, a guide from Real Egypt Tours. It was excellent. He took use to multiple Masques. We walked the streets of Cairo (quite an experience, not to be done without a guide). We shopped in the old Markets of Cairo. We had an authentic lunch at one of the small restaurants in the market. It was a very memorable, educational and enjoyable day.

Paraskevi Alexiou: We travelled two adults and three kids (3, 5, 7 yo) to Cairo for 4 days in February 2023.I was looking in TripAdvisor for tourist agency with good reviews and i decided to book with Real Egypt three day tours plus the transportation services from and to the airport.This definitely was the best decision.First day we got a tour to Giza (Pyramids, Sphynx, Museum etc), the second day a sightseeing tour in Cairo town ( Al Khalilah market, old Cairo, Coptic Cairo etc.), the third day an amazing Safari to Fayoum desert, Valley of Whales etc.We are absolutely happy with real Egypt from the time they picked us up from the airport to the time they dropped us off back.Mustafa our trip coordinator was very kind and helped us to schedule the appropriate for us tours, considering we had the kids.The tours were very well organized, with very comfortable vehicles and the guides really amazing.Our guide Mohamed was the best we ever had!Very kind and fluent English speaker guide, he even helped us with the kids sometimes, and the kids really loved him (keep asking when will see him again :D )Ahmed was the guide who picked us and dropped us to the airport, he was really excellent and helpful too.To sum up, although I was a bit worried before the trip about how would be in Egypt with three toddlers, real Egypt made it absolutely comfortable and amazing!

Siobhan Green: Fantastic tour company! We spent two days in Cairo with Real Egypt and we could not have received a better experience. From the moment we enquired about booking, the team were responsive straight away, and this alone was a huge thing for us, as we had read reviews of other tour companies not being responsive (even on tour days). Moustafa was our planner and organiser and he was just fantastic at communicating with us, keeping us in the loop, and making sure we got exactly what we wanted; he was literally a whatsapp message away. We had booked airport transfer through another agent in the UK but that didn't stop Moustafa from making sure we had landed safely, and arrived at the hotel as expected. Our wonderful guide was Reem, who is a Cairo native, and she was just so knowledgeable, friendly, and insightful. She was at our hotel bang on time both days and she knew exactly what we wanted. She made sure that everything that was on our tour list was ticked off in full and then some. Ahmed was our lovely driver who was always at each site with us, ready to take us to the next place, even in downtown Cairo. We simply could not have wished for a better service. came away with a really full experience of Cairo. If you are going to book with a tour group, it needs to be Real Egypt

Stefan Williams: Absolutely Fabulous. Samir and the team put together a flawless custom tour for my wife and I including a Dihabiya Nile cruise and every antiquity we wanted to visit. The guides were extremely good, and super friendly as well. A special shout out yo Nayera and Mahmood, two fabulous egyptologist guides we had the pleasure of being with. Before booking we considered Abercrombie & Kent, but this was our tour, we didn't want to share it with 25 others - Real Egypt made us feel special. In terms of value for money, it was so much better than the large luxury tours we saw on offer. We made many friends and saw Egypt in style. Highly recommended.

PagiLeha: Amazing trip!We had 4 days in Luxor and then 3 days in Cairo and Giza. Our guides Mohamed and Aman were wonderful, kind, funny and so knowledgeable and both spoke German fluently. A last minute change in itinerary was no problem. The drivers were very good and safe, vehicles were clean and comfortable, always on time. The places we went to eat were so so good!Everything worked out so great, we felt so well taken care of! Felt right at home in Egypt. We had a very good experience, let me explain :THE RESERVATIONReservation was easy, in English, we spoke with Dahlia, a senior tour guide, so, her advices and propositions were good and adapted. All the explications were clear, and she did their best to satisfy our request. Thank you again Dahlia !PRICEGood price for the cruise, visit of Louxor and all the additional visits.They had different way to pay. Bank transfer was, for us, the easiest, and everything was well explained.COMMUNICATIONThe communication was perfect : fluid and easy, by e-mail before the trip, then by WhatsApp. The answers were really quick, that makes us really comfortable.We appreciated that they followed us throughout the trip asking for news, reminding us of schedules and answering questions.GUIDESWe asked for French speaking guide. We told Real Egypt that the first guide wasn’t very professional, they immediately replaced him by another guide more qualified and offered us an extra. If we well understood, Real Egypt pay attention of the guide they hire but the French speaking guide are not part of the company. So, even if we loved our tour and guide, we should have asked for English speaking guide, hiring by Real Egypt.TRIPThe trip was wonderful, we did everything we wanted: visit the different tombs, different temple, balloon,…Visits were very well organized: The Real Egypt leader and the guide came to pick up us, every morning in our hotel; we avoid the crowd, take our time on every visit and took all the pictures we wanted, then we had to rest a bit.We were with a private guide, so really comfortable and felt free to ask questions.We loved it a lot !CRUISEThe cruise was our favorite part ! We were only 4 guests, the Dahabiya was beautiful and comfortable, the trip was really relaxing, the view was beautiful, the crew was wonderful, we ate tasty Egyptian specialties, days had a good organization, we visited local family really sweet. We liked a lot our guide, Shiima, she was really good and kind !We enjoyed every single moment!CONCLUSIONWe highly recommend Real Egypt, we felt safe, listened, and well supported. We appreciate every interlocutor of the company. Katya Gatt: We organised two private day tours (one for Cairo/Giza/Memphis/Saqqara and another for Luxor West Bank including a sunrise hot air balloon ride) and a dahabiya Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Real Egypt, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received.While we were travelling around Egypt by ourselves we felt that the two day tours would make our lives easier in terms of transportation and managing to fit in as much as possible on those days, and we were right. The dahabiya cruise was also a magical experience, allowing us to relax after some hectic traveling.From the get-go, Hala was extremely responsive, patient and helpful via email as we designed the tours, answering our many questions and providing us with helpful suggestions.The tours were well organised, with comfortable transportation and excellent guides: shout-out to Ahmed who we had in Cairo, Amani who we had in Luxor, and last but definitely not least Mahmoud who was with us for 4 days on the dahabiya tour - all knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.We learnt so much and had such a great time during our tours with Real Egypt. Highly recommended!

Lohe Mindiola-Diaz: I can’t speak highly enough about the Real Egypt’s service. We planned traveling to Egypt in mid-June 2022 with not much time and wanting to visit many places. Dahlia our trip coordinator worked her magic to be able to accommodate Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh all in 8 days.To summarize our experience, I wanted to list all the main things that make Real Egypt an outstanding agency:-They can personalize your trip to your needs. They are super well organized, and they have their itineraries planned to the minute, so you don’t have to do anything. We were even welcomed in the airport by Waleed before going through immigration.-They are always on time, tour guides, transportation, airport assists, etc.-You have your trip coordinator always available on the phone-The tour guides are top. We were amazed by the level of knowledge they had. Our tour guides were historians and archeologists-The food selection for lunch was great a mix of famous places with local food in the houses of people in some of the towns-We went there in the beginning of the summer, and they always came prepared with very cold water and we never had to wait to be picked up and taken to a different place.-Transportation vehicles are in great condition with AC, and their drivers very skilled-They provide you hotel recommendations from all budget ranges but all are great-Everyone on their team was extremely nice, super welcoming, and always willing to answer all our questions-They send you a pre-trip document with information about the culture and everything you need to know before travelingFinally, you don’t have to book anything by yourself or do any research. You just tell them where you want to go and do, and they will do everything for you 🙂

Noushin Nazarian: Samir helped me with my last min request for a Cairo Museum tour and introduced me to Karima, she was lively, and knowledgeable and listened carefully to my interest and questions ( she even took me to the streets of Cairo after the tour). with such an experience, I canceled the Giza pyramid tour organized by the hotel and asked Samir to organize that for the next morning. Karima and the driver were both professional and had a great understanding of how to accommodate my requests for only half a day. Thank you team and I hope to return back to Egypt

Victoria Wilks: We had a wonderful day in Cairo (saw the pyramids, rode camels, sphinx, Museum, shopping) then flew to Aswan. We stayed a night in Aswan, saw the sights in the morning and then boarded our dahabiya. The dahabiya was an amazing experience. We sailed 3 nights and ended in Luxor. We had 2 days of touring in Luxor before flying back to Cairo and then home. Real Egypt arranged some of the accommodation and all of the transfers. They took care of all the tips which made it so much easier for us. The crew on the dahabiya was fantastic. The food was excellent and we felt like royalty. Having a personal tour guide with us the whole time was a treat. He explained so much to us and tailored what he talked about to our interests. We highly recommend Real Egypt!

Sarah El Maradny: دائما ما نخطط لرحلاتنا بأنفسنا ولكن هذه المرة قررنا ان نخوض تجربة الرحلة مع شركة Real Egypt  وكان اختيارا موفقا للغاية من أول ما بدأنا التواصل معهم واهتمامهم بكل التفاصيل ومراعاة اهتماماتنا المختلفة كأسرة قضينا معهم أسبوعا لا ينسى اتسم بكثرة المزارات وتنوعها كما أظهروا القدرة على تدبير الوقت بصورة إعجازية مكنت لنا زيارة آثار ومعابد ومقابر فرعونية من أسوان وحتى الأقصر وكذلك التعرف على ثقافات مختلفة والاختلاط مع أهلنا في الصعيد والتعرف على نمط الحياة هناك وعاداتهم مع شرح مميز للمزارات. التحرك كان سلس وسريع في باصات مكيفة ومريحة مع سائقين محترفين دائما كانوا في انتظارنا بزجاجات المياه الباردة، وما سهل علينا رحلتنا مندوبين الشركة الذين تفانوا من أجل راحتنا وتوفير ما احتجنا إليه، كما أن الاستمتاع بالنيل كان من أهم ما تضمنته الرحلة حيث كانت رحلة الدهبية مع Dahabiya Nile sailing من أروع التجارب من حيث الفخامة والراحة والمناظر الخلابة للنيل والخضرة والجبال، الدهبية فريدة ومتميزة جدا في مزاراتها وطاقمها المميز. اكثر ما أثار إعجابي في شركة Real Egypt  أنهم استطاعوا أن يصلوا لمرحله التوازن بين السعر المناسب لينا وتنفيذ الرحلة بكل تفاصيلها كما اتفقنا عليها. شكر لكل العاملين في Real Egypt  تفانيكم ومجهودكم وإخلاصكم في عملكم سبب في إسعاد الكثير من عملائكم.
