億万太郎: ここに泊まったのだ、空港近くのローカルバス停にてホラ吹きオッサンタクシーに乗り殺人未遂に遭遇し午前2時間程で１週間分のエネルギーを失ってしまう、入国当日にAswanまで行こうとしたがそうは行かずここで気を休めることにした。2、3日程泊まる。鍵なし、Wi-Fi1ミリ。ホテルのおっさんとワンピースに出てきそうな豪快な地元のおばさんと、寡黙な体格のいい雇われだかの兄ちゃんと、直径1メートル程のシルバープレートに盛り付けられた豆、カレー？サラダ、アエーシ、緑の丸野菜コロッケ？などを囲い込み薄暗いフロントで食べたのである。私のエジプト初日は脳みそのワーキングメモリすべてを使い果たして、想像の遥か上をいっていました。

Qingyao: The airport is chaotic.Some queues are men only and others are mixed. But it is not shown anywhere until the woman is kicked out at her turn because it's a man's queue. Very rude.The border control requires filling in an exit form, which one needs to get at the check-in counter. This is also not indicated anywhere. Only after reaching the border control officer, you are informed and need to go back again.The security checks before the gate were unprofessional and airport appeared understaffed so that only one area of security check was open and it formed a long queue there.During arrival, it's recommended to buy SIM card. Convenient.

Chuckaboo: Poor service, workers at the airport would stop you and hold your passport hostage unless you showed tickets even though we where at the stage before you get given your boarding pass. We had to show on our phones that we had purchased them to finally get our passports back from the moody worker.Even at other check points only westerners would be stopped and asked to show extra proof for why they are here, locals and others would be let through without any hassle.The food in Cairo airport is atrocious. Do not be fooled by the pictures. We tried the hippo restaurant and the burger king and they are both comparable to microwaved meals.Overall the service in the airport is awful, the food is awful, and the attitude of some of the staff is awful.

Alex Drukpa.: I had a great experience at this airport.Nice airport with huge spaces in between. the airport is so huge and the facilities are top-notch. airport is clean , one can reach the end terminal after check-in in about 10 mins. I am surprised to see a direct flight from tel aviv didnt know the countries were that close. Other than that the things went mainly smoothly.when I see kuwait 🇰🇼 flight I cried and miss my husband much much here👩❤️💋👨👩❤️💋👨 Had a really great experience with Egyptair, the timing was on point, the flight experience was smooth, the staff were very kind, the food was good.

Communication companies that sell sim cards just want to scam you.The airport is the image window of a country. But Cairo airport is as bad as this country. Just all for money, no service.For domestic flights, wait for the flight first, then go through the security check. There is no security check during the two-hour wait for the flight, and they are all crowded together for the security check an hour before boarding.The security inspector who checks the X-ray of the bags can still answer the phone..Really horrible terrible experience.

Altra nota che secondo me non si addice molto alla struttura è la ricerca continua di mance da parte dello staff in particolare per il trasporto bagagli. Camere molto spaziose, dotate di ogni confort, vista sul Nilo memorabile 👍Nothing to say about professionality and elegance overall. Personally I would have just wanted less stiffness in the check-in procedures. Another note that in my opinion is not very suitable for the structure is the continuous search for tips by the staff in particular for the transport of luggage. Very spacious rooms, equipped with every comfort, memorable view of the Nile 👍

También había una terraza con una vista increíble al río Nilo, un sillón y una mesa, además de un gran escritorio para dejar nuestras cosas.El desayuno del hotel era impactante, había todo tipo de panes, pasteles, ensaladas, jugos, te, café, frutas, cereales, panqueques, y mucho más! Había comida internacional y también comida típica egipcia. Y como en muchos hoteles, hay gente que almuerza en ese horario así que también había todo tipo de cosas para hacerlo.Las personas que atendían siempre estuvieron pendientes de si faltaba algo, nos ofrecían distintas cosas todo el tiempo y estaban muy pendientes de retirar platos y cosas que ya no necesitáramos. Siempre saludaban muy alegres a cualquier hora del día y nos hacía sentir muy cómodos.En el hotel también había una gran piscina arriba en la terraza, sauna y spa 24 horas. Heinz-Günther Kampmann: Am 25.09.2008 flogen wir um 10:00 von Luxor nach Kairo und wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und in das , gute , Le Meridien Pyramids gebracht . Das Hotel an sich ist sehr angenehm hat aber den Nachteil daß es direkt neben einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt liegt und es Tag und Nacht zu Lärmbehinderungen kommt . Zimmer war groß , sauber und gut eingerichtet . Ein weiteres Problem waren die , während des Ramadan , kurzen Öffnungszeiten des Pools . Wollte z.B. Abends gegen 17:00 nach einem ereignisreichen Tag im Pool relaxen ..... ging jedoch nicht mit dem Verweis auf Ramadan . In der Zeit als wir hier weilten gab es das Mövenpick mit dem sehr guten Bua Khao Thai-Restuarant in nur 5 Minuten Fussmarsch vom Le Meridien . Wir haben beide Abende hier gespeist und es war toll . Das Mövenpick gibt es an diesem Platz nicht mehr und das Bua Khao ist offensichtlich auch nun woanders in Kairo ( Street 100 , Maadi ) . Beide früher ( wie das Le Meridien Pyramids ) an der Cairo - Alexandria Desert Rd. Ausserhalb des Ramadan empfehlenwert .....

In 2023 it seems to be ‘closed until further notice’ per brand Website which is a shame but Mena House us now also Marriott and is also more affordable than its previous brand Oberoi in 2010.
